This is exactly what I was looking for. Of course, it’s going to be crinkled and wrinkled. I sprayed it with a little water, tossed it in the dryer for about 30 minutes and hung it up to flatten out while still warm. It didn’t get ALL of the creases out, but honestly you can’t even see them in any of the photographs from the session I did of myself. I’ve been a photographer for about 10 years, and I’ve just recently started dabbling in indoor sessions with lighting and backdrops. I wanted to go cheap while I was in the process of learning so I ordered a black & grey backdrop. This did not disappoint me at all and I am so pleased with how well my session turned out! I bought this to hang behind a photo set for product photography. It's a great backdrop, but is so thin that it won't sit flat unless pulled into sheer. And at that don't put too much pull on it or it will show the tension. It wrinkles very easily and would be so much nicer if it were just a bit thicker and heavier. It's not overall bad for the price. Especially when you're on a budget. But if you're concerned, it is very think and will need constant smoothing and adjusting.

I read a lot of the reviews for this and I almost didn’t get it. People mentioned it was 2 dark of a green, extremely wrinkled, it’s thin, and not the right material. I want to go over these points really fast. Before I do that I want to say I’m very impressed with this product. You can’t beat the quality for the price. The other green screens on Amazon are more then this one and the reviews are worse if not the same. 1) The one I got is a slightly darker green then green screens you find in studios. However, it’s only probably like 4 shades darker and it still works right out the box. 2) It does come wrinkled. I don’t really understand why this is a point people bring up. It’s something that’s been folded in a bag for probably months or years. Plus the wrinkles come out when you use the clips to hold the green screen tight. 3) I’m not exactly sure the material people are expecting. For the price I think it’s a very nice material. It feels very similar to a cloth table cover but less heavy. 4) Its thin but not see threw it thin. This green screen is in the middle of my room with lights on behind it and I have no issues with light coming threw or anything like that.

This is a great kit! I use it to self tape all of my auditions. It's easy to set up in smaller spaces, too, like an apartment. It has convenient cases to carry if you need to take it on a shoot. I love all of the lights, back drops and lighting poles.

It covered a window and in two layers blocked all the light in/out. So I have a BS wall. I just used 3 magnets to hold it up (glued washers to the frame) so I can move it any time, prop it up, or take it down. Very efficient! Yeah - nice quality compared to the rotted piece of rag of my old GS that deteriorated in the bag.

So I did my research and this was a great choice. I am truly a green screen novice, but this is what I can share. 1) Its not as thick as a cotton twill for tshirts, but certainly more thick than bedsheets. Similar to maybe table cloth? 2) I can see where bright lights may shine through from behind, but I'm going a broadcast from my desk, and I have it simply doubled over and pinned up. 3) It has "fold marks". Ok so i haven't put in in the dryer yet. But i suspect this will correct that issue. Overall, I'll say this is LEGIT.- easily fold up and store. Vibrant color works perfectly. It lays nice and "flat". The weight of the fabric seems appropriate. 5 out of 5 overall.

This is a review for the gray Neewer 10x12 backdrop. I've had good luck with Neewer products before, needed a dove gray backdrop, so I ordered this one. It has a nice sleeve at the top, it's well made, but as others have stated, this thing is VERY sheer. I was quite surprised at how sheer actually. It's not extremely lightweight, it just seems to be too big of a fabric weave which lets too much light through from behind. If you're using this by itself and you have any light sources behind it, they're going to come through. You can double it and it works fine, but then, you've got half the size you ordered. You can put it atop a black or white backdrop, and once again, everything's fine, but, for the price, I expected a backdrop that could couldn't see through with ease, and flashes and softboxes just seem to make the problem worse. I'll be using this one with a black backdrop behind it.
