Theis 33 L Needone unit is thermoelectric and does a great job regulating, and keeping steady temperatures. I keep it at 69 degrees F and my (3) Hygrometers agree! I love that it is wider (easier access to the back) than some cabinets and therefore the shelves and drawer don't have as much weight on them when pulled out to access the cigars in the back of the unit. It only took 3 days to season and as of now (1 month later) the cedar aroma is very prevalent. I had a little issue with maintaining humidity levels but soon discovered that the surrounding humidity does affect the % in the unit. Since then I stopped using the water reservoir and am staying with 2 way bovida packs. I also love that I can fit 2 full unopened boxes in the bottom drawer and still have both shelves for singles. I have some coronas and a few petite singles, but mostly smoke Churchills so you won't get 250 capacity as stated if you have Churchills. You probably want to keep flavors separate as I have a few flavored cigars unboxed and when I open the door the aroma is very evident. So I assume the cigar flavors would merge if stored in close proximity. Although, that may not be a bad thing! I have an Ann Bully cedar glass top that holds my day to day stock so I don't access this unit often but I really love it!

I purchased the 33L model, and have been very disappointed with the experience. I've owned numerous humidor over the last 30 years, and frankly, the best, most stable cigar aging and storage I've found is a large 50L roto-molded camping cooler. I purchase the Needone 33L humidor because it promised heating and cooling temperature control. I does keep the temperature somewhat constant, though the actual temperature carries as much as +/- 5 degrees from the setting. The main area where this unit fails is in keeping the humidity constant. Using the included resovior or Boveda packs makes no difference, the humidity fluctuates +/- 20 percent or more. If it's a humid day, the humidity inside the Needo e 33L can climb above 80%, on dry days it can drop to 50% or less. It's as if the unit is not sealed, and is always drawing in room air. I have even plugged up the drain hole and checked the door seal, all to no effect. The Needone 33L humidor is a nice idea, but it is not worth the hassle in my opinion, especially given the asking price.

I have had this humidor setup for about 3 weeks now and it is holding temperature and humidity very well. After buying the humidor, I also purchased a 'Thermo-Hygrometer' from a company I know and trust and whose instruments I know to be true and accurate. It sits in the humidor and reads both humidity and temp. And comparing the Thermo-Hygrometer to the temp setting and hygrometer that comes with the unit, it is a steady +/- 1 to 2 percent of humidity and +/- 1 to 2 degrees of temperature from what the humidor reads. I would say that is very reasonable in my opinion. Very pleased so far and if things change, I will update this review accordingly.

Humidity and heat have finally reached the desired levels, but it took a significant amount of time and effort over the past three weeks to get to this point. I deducted one star for a key reason: the unit needs to be in a climate-controlled environment to maintain proper humidity and temperature levels. I had initially purchased it to use in my garage, which is only partially climate-controlled and not regulated 24/7. The four stars are largely due to the excellent customer service I received. When I expressed my frustration about not being able to achieve the desired humidity levels, they responded promptly and offered a full refund without hesitation. Additionally, they provided a more detailed guide on optimizing the unit’s performance. I truly appreciated their transparency and willingness to address my concerns. Ultimately, I chose not to request the refund and decided to keep working with the unit. I felt it was only fair to give it another chance, especially given the company’s outstanding customer service. Businesses like this deserve support to thrive.

The only minor complaints is the temp setting is about 2° off, I have it set at 71°f and all my temp guage measure it at 69. And the shelves have no sides so singles are going to roll off. Easy to season, 3 large Boveda packs keep it pretty stable rh wise. Imine had no plastic smell at all. Great investment if you're looking to get out of the tupperdor/desktop humidors

Had this needone for a week and a half and the humidity will not go above 62%, I tried distilled water and also a 84% boveda pack.

It has plenty of room for the casual smoker and keeps the perfect temperature. I did buy a separate electric humidity device to keep the humidity perfect at all times

Started off working great but after owning it for about 6 months I am now having majors issues with the it regulating temperatures. The AC constantly runs and has caused it to burn through boveda packs (6 320g in about a 45 day period). It is set to the same temp as my house (70 degrees) and the room matching with a temperature gauge I have sitting next to it at 70 degrees. With the AC running 24/7 it drops the humidity down to the 50% mark and temp to 58-61 degrees. The only way to regulate the humidity and temperature is the have it unplugged. Since doing that it says at a good 70 degrees and 69% humidity. It is kinda worthless now having it because it does the same as a desktop humidor. Talked to there customer service for over 2 weeks and got no where besides them repeating themselves. Highly recommend you picking a different brand. Or just for the issue but if you ever have an issue the customer service team is not helpful. A waste of $200 now.
