I'm just starting in my cigar journey and have collected about 100 cigars in all kinds of price ranges. It's been perfect so far, it hold 70 degrees very well and with the help of the large Boveda pack, it's held 69-70% humidity really well. I purchased two 12x7" cedar trays here on Amazon, they fit great. It does hang off a bit, but there is enough space between them and the door, it doesn't hit. My only gripe is that when the power goes out or is unplugged, it resets the temp to 65 degrees. Although that won't ruin the cigars it's an inconvenience to have to remember to bring the temp back up. Version two needs to have this corrected and it would be perfect. ... show more

When I opened it, the smell of cedar was just right. I had purchased extra cedar planks for the break in period, and 82% Boveda bags. Didn’t really need the extra cedar. It’s very quiet and went from 75 degrees to 65 in about 2-3 hours, where it has stayed. I have a couple other (non electrical) humidors. In Michigan the humidity and temperature can change at the drop of a hat. Boveda bags keep humidity simple, but do nothing for temperature. I’m hoping the heating element works as well as it cools. I was most concerned with sticks getting over 70 degrees however, not to worried about them getting cold- as the house is never below 65. It’s well made, about the size of a large computer tower. Not imposing. Found it referred to in numerous non-Amazon searches as an ideal quality unit for 150 sticks. The case light at the top is all but useless, as it only lights the top sticks. There is the concern of mixing too many types of sticks together and the flavors blending. This hasn’t been a problem in my other humidors unless I unwrapped sticks mixed together. I did that purposely with 2 brands and aged them that way for 2 years to infuse them with each other. The results - meh. Best to buy top sticks. Great buy so far. Will update if anything fails…. The NEEDONE Humidor 23L with Cooling and Heating Temperature Control System was easy to set up. I like the water pan at the bottom to refill with distilled water. It took two days to get the temperature and humidity when seasoning the cabinet. The four storage shelves allow excellent ventilation and storage of cigars for loose cigars and in boxes (see pictures). ... show more

Item doesn't work as advertised. Temperature is not accurate, fan doesn't function as well as no humidity control. Ipurchased this item when it was sold by Amazon.com services. Item never worked properly. I have tried to contact the manufacturer as Amazon insisted on numerous times with absolutely no response. Have contacted Amazon three times to return this item with absolutely no help beyond contacting the manufacturer. Amazon shouldn't sell items if they aren't going to stand behind them. Complete waste of money and time on a item that doesn't work properly. SAVE YOUR MONEY ... show more

Humidor came in a timely manner. Once arrived, we checked the shipping box and everything seemed perfect. It was double boxed and packaged really I want anyone to note when buying this that the humidor can only cool, and it won't heat. If you live in a constantly cold or cool environment then keep that in mind. If you're pushing for a 70 degrees Fahrenheit with 70% humidity, it's going to take quite some time to adjust depending on how cool or cold your house is. There is a strong plastic smell inside but just follow the directions and that smell will go away completely. Make sure you season correctly and adjust as needed! ... show more

So, I set this humidor up October 4th. So I haven’t had it that long, so that is a disclaimer. To start off, you should certainly clean the humidor before seasoning and loading it with cigars. I did a two step cleaning, personally. The first cleaning was with distilled water and a few drops of dish soap using a microfiber towel. Followed by a second cleaning with ONLY distilled water and a new microfiber towel. This eliminated the factory “plastic” smell. Also, I would keep the door open for maybe an hour to make sure any residual water is dried. Next, I used distilled water in the “humidifier” cup that it comes with for 12 hours. Calibrated a separate hygrometer, being the one that comes with it isn’t dead on accurate. After 12 hours, I loaded it up with a few cigars, put 3 69% Boveda packs inside (60 gram packs). The humidor regulated both temperature and humidity very well very shortly after. I’ve been monitoring the temperature and humidity since then, and it has held between 68.5F-69.5F and 66.5%-69.5% humidity. These are very respectable and acceptable margins for me personally, and the cigars are smoking quite nicely after adapting for a few days.
