In the last few years I have lost money purchasing a few different mattresses and multiple different mattress toppers just trying to get a good nights sleep. The mattresses, no matter how good they felt in the stores, ended up being too hard/firm when actually slept on. The toppers ranged from cheap foam that just squashed down to nothing, or were memory foam gels that were way too firm. I hesitated about buying this Nectar Soft Mattress Topper since it cost much more than any of the other toppers I'd tried. However, it was the only one that gave the "Soft" option. I waited 6 days/nights before writing this review, even though I slept much better and was more comfortable the very first night. I am very glad that I purchased this. I am definitely sleeping longer and am waking up feeling better than I have in years. Some mornings I stay in bed a little longer now because I'm comfortable. I'm female, will be 70 in 2 months, and have some pain in my knees and my right hip. The topper hasn't caused all of the pain to go away, especially when I roll over at night, but it's definitely made it less, to the point where some nights I barely notice it at all. A terrific product! By the way: At least one review I read mentioned that it was "too soft". I don't find that to be true for me at all. The topper still has some firmness to it, supports well, and has just enough cushioning to make it comfortable. And, like some other reviewers, I wondered if it being only 2 inches thick would be enough for it to be comfortable. It is. I have found it to be much better than I expected or could have hoped for. The size and cushioning are perfect.

The nectar soft mattress topper is fabulous. I bought a nectar mattress and it was too firm. I couldn’t sleep on it. I put this topper on the mattress and it’s like sleeping on a cloud. It also has a cooling layer for those hot nights. It fits the split king adjustable bed mattress and seems to be well made. I got back ache sleeping on the firm mattress but with this nectar topping I now wake up pain free. My only con is that it slides down towards the foot of the bed. I thought the bottom was made so it wouldn’t do that. I’m going to try putting it in a zipper mattress protector and see if that will keep the topper from moving.

I have bought many toppers before and wasted money. This is well worth the extra cost. I bought it because my mattress was to firm. It's made a tremendous difference in how I sleep. Plus Nectar has a great warranty.

I was very tempted to give this topper 3 stars because I am so frustrated with it. I have orders a few nectar products and have been mostly very pleased with them. So, when I was looking for a mattress topper, nectar was at the top of my list. I paid right at $200 for this king-sized topper. I will say that it is very comfortable. It did not have an odor. It fluffed up quickly. What is not to like? Well, they say it has a non-slip backing. I beg to differ. This thing drives me absolutely crazy because it will not stay in place. I have to re-adjust it every other day. Then I see other similar toppers for half the price that have these nifty elastic straps that secure the toppers to the mattress, and this makes me feel very salty. I guess I will buy some elastic and sew me some straps on this and see if it will help.

I absolutely despise this thing. I am elderly and in a wheelchair so I have no way of getting it back in a box and trying to return it. I bought this to replace a latex topper that was starting to shred . I loved my topper, but latex is too heavy for me to handle so, unfortunately, I decided to try this. I sleep in a hospital bed at about a 60° angle due to breathing issues. No matter what I try, including bungee cording it around the mattress, a huge hump develops where the bed bends. In the short while I have had this, back and hip pain have escalated exponentially and it's interfering with sleep. As soon as I can find some help it's coming off. Expensive lesson learned. I feel the cost is outrageous for what you actually get. One corner never inflated but it's not noticeable once the sheets are on, so I let that slide. Very expensive lesson learned!

I was a little skeptical at first because this topper is only 2 inches thick, but I was completely wrong. It’s actually really comfortable and made a noticeable difference right away. I am a hot sleeper, and this works better for me than my original mattress, not that hot at all. Even my Apple Watch showed that my sleep was less interrupted during the night. I also really like the non-slip bottom and the true-to-size full. It helps keep the topper in place and makes it feel more stable on the bed. I recommended it to one of my colleagues, and he ended up loving it too. If you like a softer and more comfortable sleeping experience, this one is definitely worth trying.

Summary: If you're buying this to use on anything other than a mattress, it's not worth the price. It helps a little with comfort but back pain persists. It's not thick enough for metal bars, etc. not to be felt. I've been sleeping on a couch for months because I've been looking for the perfect mattress. However I've been experiencing back pain and poor sleep quality, so I decided to find a mattress I'd buy something temporary to help with my comfort. I did my research, read all the reviews, and decided on this topper. It arrived compressed but no instructions for how long to let it expand so I gave it 8 hours. By this time it looked and felt usable. The quality of this topper is excellent. It's cushy without being too soft. Although my original concern of 2 inches being too little remained because it's the thickness of a quality dog bed. Though, even though the thickness isn't what I'd really want it's decent. I've used this topper now on the couch, floor, and a heavy-duty camping cot and I have to say, yes… It's comfortable but it hasn't really helped with my pains. My back pain is still there, in fact I get up even more stiff in my lower back after using this. I bought this specific “soft” topper because it says that version is for back pain. Bottom line, this topper is nicely made and worth the money charged if using it on an actual mattress. If you're sleeping on anything else and planning to use this as a temporary mattress or have any back pains, don't waste your money. You can get a 4-inch foam topper for half the price and get a little more support.

I love this topper - I had cycled through a few other polyester filler and down toppers that just squished flat and didn’t support so I tried this on a whim and really like it so far. It’s very soft but supportive and makes a huge difference even though it’s 2 inches.
