I critique a lot but this memory foam is by far perfect it’s soft I wanted that it contours all areas of my body. It’s NOT firm or hard it’s supper soft. I was nervous purchasing it without seeing in person. It expanded very quickly isn’t to heavy to move around while setting up. I bought an adjustable bed before kept in guest room because that memory foam is terribly hard and firm. Spent a ton of money. But this nectar memory foam I’m so happy I made this purchase we have no regrets. If your not wanting soft select the next one it says medium soft but way more on soft side. I find this mattress to be exceptionally comfortable. Initially, I was apprehensive due to its price point; however, the importance of a restful night's sleep persuaded me. My previous mattress had firmer edge springs, limiting the usable sleeping surface. In contrast, this mattress offers a significant improvement. Pretty comfy. The memory foam layer is nice but not very thick. It’s a hybrid mattress so it still has the spring support under the foam layer. It’s a good upgrade from your old sagging mattress. It comes is a big box and is fairly heavy but not unmanageable for one person, even up/down stairs. The mattress itself is in a vacuum bag. Be sure that you’re ready to maneuver because the bed starts to expand rapidly as soon as you puncture and cut the bag open, it happens quickly. There’s a slight odor to the bed but it goes away within a day or two. By the time the bed is ready to sleep on, it takes time for it to fully set, it will have mostly gone away. With fresh clean sheets on, you’ll hardly notice anything. Set it up before work and it’ll be ready to sleep on by the time you get home. TL;DR Good bed for the price, I got mine on sale. I bought my Nectar queen sized hybrid mattress thru Amazon. I got to select the time and date for the delivery, a nice convenience for such an essential purchase. Amazon provided added services of delivery and setup in my home at no cost to me. It arrived on time with 2 people carrying it into my home instead of drop off at the front door. They bought it into the bedroom, unwrapped it, lifted it onto the bed frame. Then clean up the packaging. This service saved my aching back. Took a couple of days for the bed to fully expand to its final size. It sleeps very nicely, reduced my back aches by 85%. Hopefully it will get better as I sleep on it longer. We bought this mattress in King approximate 30 days ago. Opened it, waited for it to expand, and tried using it. It really seems like a quality mattress but it was just too soft for our liking. So we wanted to return it. I contacted Amazon and they said they would not accept the return. Asked if I wanted to buy it at a discount. I said no, it’s not for us even with a discount. The rep checked with her supervisor who told her the return was denied. I referred to the 100 night mattress return policy on the Amazon site and the 365 night trial period in the main heading of the mattress listing! She told me it was declined and I needed to contact the manufacturer. She gave me the contact number to Nectar. I contacted Nectar. Chatted with an agent who took all my information about the purchase and then told me I would be contacted by an Amazon specialist from Nectar. Two days later I get an email from Nectar saying I need to contact Amazon because Amazon handles all returns and warranty claims within the first 100 days. I will update this if/when there is a resolution. But if you’re thinking about buying/trying this mattress based on the “trial” period, BEWARE! ... show more
