I’ve had the bed for about 5 months now, great bed. Have no issues with temperature, comfort, fit or support. I am 6ft 250lbs. I got a queen size and it’s working out great. I’d say the only thing reviews were correct about is, sitting on the edge will cause you to slowly slip off the bed. Edges are much more softer than the center. Other than that, I sleep great and can’t complain.

Amazingly easy and so much more comfortable than the mattress it replaced. No odor, inflated quickly. For my size 150ish pounds, it is firm and solid, a little too firm for side sleeping, but I just popped the old topper in cover on this and it is wonderful. If you need extra support around edges because you like to sit and tie shoes, it may not be the best choice, but I am loving it. On sale it was a wonderful deal, and I'm so glad I purchased after reading reviews around the web

We haven’t had it for long but this feels like a great mattress so far. Soft and supportive at the same time. Such a great value for the price. However, shipping was a real hassle. Amazon shipped this through USPS. The day it was supposed to arrive, the mail carrier left us a note that said it was too big to deliver. They left this note in the mailbox, not at our doorstep so by the time we got it, the post office was closed for the weekend. Went to the post office during the work day, waited in a long line, and they had the package. Luckily, the gentleman helping me helped carry it to my car. Amazon/Nectar should change shipping methods ASAP, as the whole point of ordering a mattress on Amazon is to have it delivered to me.

I ordered this mattress based on its good reviews to replace an old memory foam mattress that was about 7 years old. I was also convinced by the risk-free in home trial guarantee that Nectar advertises. Big mistake! I slept on this mattress for several months and found it much firmer and less comfortable than expected. Nectar’s advertising materials say it will break in, but it was still uncomfortable after months of normal use. I was waking up with back pain and soreness, and this affected my sleep quality. I decided to return the mattress using Nectar’s in-home trial guarantee, as it was outside Amazon’s return window. This process was anything but risk-free. Nectar makes you jump through hoops to return the mattress: it takes several emails just to get an RMA, then it must be picked up by their donation partner and inspected, and then they won’t give you a cash-equivalent refund but instead a prepaid Mastercard. I refused this and asked for a check or ACH transfer (which was within their policy at the time of purchase) and they refused. After contacting Resident Home’s (Nectar’s parent company) legal department, I was offered a settlement instead of a refund with a non-disclosure agreement keeping me from giving an honest review. I refused this settlement and was ghosted by their legal counsel. After filing a complaint with my state’s Attorney General, Resident Home refused to cooperate with the AG’s attempts to mediate. I am still owed a refund of nearly $1000, and will probably have to file a lawsuit to get it. I wound up buying a Tempur Pedic Cloud Hybrid mattress and am much happier with it. The quality of Tempur Pedic foam is much better and it costs a few hundred dollars more. I am sleeping better and my back is hurting less. You get what you pay for! Summary: If I could, I would give Nectar zero stars. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand. Nectar’s mattresses aren’t worth it at over $900, the foam is nowhere near Tempur Pedic’s quality, and their risk-free in-home trial is anything but risk free.

this is gonna be a really stupid review, i'm going to complain about ONLY the unboxing process and instructions as someone who's annoying about that sort of thing. ***if you aren't, ignore this review, you'll be fine, the packaging is honestly pretty well designed, you can't really mess it up.*** the terrible unboxing instructions don't have really any impact on the actual quality of the mattress, i just want to be insufferable about this for a minute i wanted to unbox my mattress as properly as possible, so i scanned the little qr code labeled "learn about your mattress." it opens you up on a website with a video at the top. "great! i can watch an instruction video about how to prepare my mattress!" incorrect! of course, the video at the top of the website is basically just marketing b-roll with like 4 seconds of footage of actors opening the box. perfect for mindreaders! after a moment of confusion as to where the actual information is, i realized that there's text under the video. "oh, this is where the actually helpful information is going to be!" eh. sort of??? the text is just terrible at conveying information because they overexplain things that don't need to be overexplained and underexplain pretty basic stuff. like, maybe it sounds helpful to just tell the customer exactly how some guy at corporate unboxed his mattress, but it leaves out anyone else in any other situation, and on top of that, it's just explained poorly. the main issue is with the first step. "unbox your mattress in your preferred room after placing it on a firm supportive surface, like a bed frame (not the floor)..." sounds good if you don't think about it at all. what are you talking about?? we haven't opened the box yet, so does the unboxed mattress need to be on a supportive surface like a bed frame but not the floor?? clearly this is a mistake, the people in the video just open the box on the floor, they're talking about where you need to use the mattress once it's set up, but why is this in the "unbox" step???? also, they didn't say what a "preferred room" is, i already know where i'm going to open this without their help, in the backyard, i prefer the ambiance out there. there's also no mention of box springs as an acceptable platform for the mattress, even though it's an extremely common way to set up a mattress, so i have to assume that'll void my warranty. (joke) by the way, this review is made out of 100% recyclable material if you'd like to recycle it! :) anyway, it's uphill from here. step two is to unroll it. the words here are technically sufficient, in that the things they say adhere to reality, but it's just so unnecessarily long. (shush) anyone can notice the loose end of a roll and start pulling, and the inflation is so gentle with this packaging that it's pretty much idiot-proof, and yet you put so many words into explaining this part. why??? put the words towards explaining the parts that people need to actually know???? step three and four are ok. they give the user the actual information they want to know, how long to wait for it to expand, the 1-year return policy, and the warranty information. so they understand the purpose of instruction manuals, they just really wanted to waste my time telling me that cardboard is recyclable and you unroll things by unrolling them. just in case you blanked it out every other time i said this, i agree that this doesn't really matter that much, you could guess your way through this process and figure it out well enough. i'm just saying that if you're going to create a whole separate web page for extra information, put some damn information on there!!!! this feels so simple, and yet the information conveyance is so sloppy and terrible. surely they understand that the unboxing process is hilariously easy, but then they throw a bunch of meaningless gibberish at you, it makes it seem like "oh wow i guess there's a lot to this" and there's just not. if you don't care about this kind of thing then more power to you i guess, i just don't want to hear one more STEM-head complain about how useless english majors are until they can figure out how to decently explain the hilariously simple process of unboxing a mattress. C-, see me after class.

Love our new mattress.The very first night was comfortable. My husband and I both have both been sleeping better. We replaced a Serta Posterure Pedic Hybrid. We only had it a year and paid a lot more for it. Nectar is so much better!

I wanted to wait until I'd used the bed for awhile to leave any sort of feedback on it. I've had the bed for a couple months now and I have to say whatever advertisement this mattress has for any sort of firmness doesn't seem apparent when you sleep on this mattress. The bed is very plush for a memory foam bed and a huge upgrade on my previous bed. It doesn't cause me to sweat at all through the night and doesn't trap odors inside. I moved from a Zinus Green Tea mattress because after about a year of use the 8in mattress was causing me to sink. I don't feel that with this mattress as much but it definitely shows signs of wear after a short while. The bed is comfortable but unlike when I first bought the mattress is no longer a solid nights rest. It's far more plush than I was expecting it to be. I bought this specific mattress for the cooling function, the sheer thickness of the bed itself, and to move from a twin to a much larger bed with more room for me to adjust throughout the night when I become uncomfortable. All in all, I would recommend anyone that looks into purchasing this mattress to try and find a showroom display of it before committing as I would have happily tried before buying if I could have.
