So I really got this to wear under shirts/dresses but I dont know if I will be able to. The quality is outstanding. Sizing is accurate. I usually wear a large so that is what I got & it fits well. It does have stretch to it, thankfully. It definitely helps support my back. I have not tried to work out with it so I don't know how effective it is for that. My only issue is that it works so well at smoothing my stomach but since is squeezes me in, it causes me to have "back fat" if that makes sense. So idk if I can use it for why I originally got it but we will see. ... show more

    • Didn't feel like a torture device after a few hours
I was a bit nervous about the sizing at first as it's so hard to find these that actually fit a plus size body correctly but I am so happy to report that it fits perfectly and matches the size chart exactly. It provides that sleek snatched look I was going for without feeling like I can't move around. It does slightly move and needs adjusting periodically but the stretchiness easily shows you to move and adjust as needed. What really surprised me is the comfort level of this cincher. While you definitely feel the compression which is exactly what you want for tummy control it is still moderately comfortable enough to wear throughout my workday or for a night out. The material feels high quality and sturdy and the hook-and-eye closures are easy to manage. If you are looking for something that actually works and doesn't feel like a torture device I highly recommend giving this one a try. ... show more

They should label this just "waist trainer" this is perfect for ANYONE looking to achieve that hourglass figure that us many of us strive for! I love the boning in the back, it helps a lot with posture and there's so many clips that you don't have to worry about a blow out while you're out on the town. This will smooth you down beautifully and the best part is that it doesn't get in the way of bathroom trips. That was always one of the biggest issues with spanx for me! I super appreciate not having to deal with a swimsuit style trainer. I highly recommend this brand. A little tip: When deciding what size to buy, buy the size you would buy in pants at the local big box store. For instance, I usually buy a large but occasionally buy medium. I figured I would get better results with the medium but after putting on a matter of 5 pounds, I now am too big for the medium.
