I am around a medium so I ordered the smallest size if I remember correctly and while I did feel some compression it really wasn't all that much. With that said though the material was very comfortable and not scratchy at all. It was breathable and the chest support was solid. I would say you are getting what you paid for, if you wanted intense compression than this isn't it but as far as smoothing at your shape I would say this works well for that! ... show more

I have never even tried on a body suit before, so this was interesting and required assistance. Lol. I ordered the XL, but could have sized up. It is difficult to get on with the size that I chose, but it does fit. For reference; I am 5'5, 220 pounds, with a high waist and apron belly. It sucked everything in beautifully. I only wish there was more support for the girls. It can definitely be worn on its own with jeans, a cute skirt or even your favorite sweats. Or it can be worn under dresses and other clothes. It's totally versatile. I don't know how long it will last because it was so cheap, but we shall see. I will be ordering compression cami's next, but this will come in handy as well. ... show more
