When I was putting my new office together, I added a dark slat wall to give it a little style and to help with sound dampening. It looks great, but it also darkens the room as the day goes on. This light kit helps to brighten the room up while adding some visual pop that really comes through on my endless video Teams calls. I can hardly ever get through a call without someone commenting on how cool the wall looks. It's not a bad problem to have. The kit comes well packaged, and it includes everything you need to get set up in just a few minutes. Each light bar includes a pre-applied foam sticker, so you just peel and stick each bar in whatever gap in the slats that looks good to you. The thin, black wires are quite long, so I wasn't limited in my placement choices by them. While the central power box feels a bit flimsy, everything connected without any trouble, and all the lights work perfectly. The power box is tucked safely away under my desk, so I don't anticipate any problems with its durability. The kit also includes a touch control button that works well enough as an on/off switch and a hold-to-dim control, but I'm not a fan of its round design. As you can see in the included photos, it mounts awkwardly on the wall via a screwed-in bracket. I suppose this would look better mounted horizontally under a desk or table, but that wasn't an option for me; it may work better for your situation. Overall, this is a great addition to my office slat wall. Easy to install, stylish, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

These look awesome. From the standpoint of an observer, these add a wonderfully snazzy look to my sound-dampening panels. I was concerned that they may weigh too much and fall off, but I do not believe that will be an issue. The strips are very lightweight, and the 3M (esque?) tape should hold just fine. The light is even and looks great. Honestly, I didn't need the instructions, and I do not believe you will either. Each light comes with an ample supply of wire with which to connect it to the supplied power supply. You simply plug everything into the only thing it can plug into, and it will be good to go. I did not use the provided tiny little touch control because I plugged it into a smart plug that will turn it on for business and off at the end of the day. I did take a star off, but it was for something that really does not matter at the end of the day. This isn't a super high--end setup. No fine machining here, nor is there a transformer that reeks of quality. In fact, nothing reeks of quality - but it doesn't have to. The strips are thin-gauge plastic, the transformer is super lightweight and also made of thin plastic, and the connectors and ports are absolutely "meh." However, that really does not matter from a real-world perspective. So long as you do a decent job of hiding the wires (which will be easy because they are super thin) and concealing the transformer (which is pretty slim and innocuous), everyone will think it looks like a million bucks when you are done. Let's talk about shipping. Everything comes in a round shipping tube in a box in a box. It is very well protected. I cannt imagine anything happening to this in shipping, unless the delivery truck rolls over it. The shipping packaging weighs more than the product. That is a good thing. This is arguably a niche product, but it does a very good job filling that niche. If this is what you are looking for, I do not think you will be disappointed, so long as it is installed indoors in a regular office environment. Highly recommended.

I got this set to integrate into my film studio, tucked between sound-dampening wall panels, and it’s exactly the kind of subtle, modern lighting I was hoping for. The light is a warm, soft glow rather than harsh, and when I tested one strip it was impressively bright at full power. The touch switch and adjustable brightness are a big plus, you can dial it down to a gentle accent or up for more punch. Installation looks very straightforward. The strips are slim with a self-adhesive backing, so they’re made to sit neatly in the grooves of wood slat or acoustic panels without bulky hardware. All the wiring and components in the kit look tidy and well organized in the box. Doesn't look cheap or fragile. I haven’t fully installed all of them yet, so I can’t speak to long-term durability, but first impressions are very good: thoughtful design, easy peel-and-stick setup, and a warm 3000K look that should photograph nicely on camera. If you’re building out a feature wall, headboard, or studio backdrop, this kit is a great way to add clean, integrated lighting without a complicated electrical project.

I put this 8-piece NeatiEase kit between the gaps of my wood slat wall in my home office. The self-adhesive backing made it simple to place, and the thin black wires were long enough to route cleanly to the power box under my desk. The 3000K glow feels warm on camera and I like being able to press-and-hold the touch switch to dim for calls. Downsides: the central box and transformer feel lightweight and a bit flimsy, and the round touch puck looks awkward when wall mounted. I ended up hiding both and using a smart plug. Once installed, the light is even and stays put.
