Nice bowl got two for back yard. One for deck (black) and one for yard (blue). Rubber ring on both at base fell off within a month and blue one chipped paint off inside bowl for some reason. Still good enough bowls and do there purpose. Wish they were a little deeper though.

The dish is very sturdy; however, the rubber rim smells like old tires. Also, the spotted appearance is from a spatter design added on top of the original colored surface. The bumpy texture is a bit off-putting.

I bought this for an extra water bowl for our cats. It is a little deep for cats though. (Deep dishes push their whiskers back while they eat or drink, so not comfortable for them.) I wanted a red dish so it went along with our mostly-red bathroom. The dish itself is good looking. I really like the old-time camping pot finish appearance. BUT...the finish is not smooth, like I expected. It is actually pretty bumpy and rough. I would imagine that the rougher finish won't bother dogs much, but the cats don't care for it. I really don't know if all their bowls have a textured finish, or we just got one with a problem. The one we already had is large and shallower, but has a stainless steel reflective bottom that one cat has decided he no longer likes. (He's getting older, so perhaps does not like his reflection anymore, kinda like so many of us! Ha!) That's why I also wanted a coated bowl. But, with the texture on it, we'll keep looking for another bowl.

Great dish. I use it outdoors and had to by special glue to attach Rubber to metal for the rubber ring. 60 some ounces sounds large but perfect for outside friends.

Upon unpacking this item, I saw a tiny dent and damaged enamel on the bowl. The enamel appears to have flaked away where the dent is. The dent was made from.oitside of the bowl, but the enamel flaked off from inside of the bowl. The metal is extremely thin and cheap feeling. Rubbing my finger over the damahed enamel caused even more enamel to flake off. The enamel coating is extremely thin. I question what material was used for the enamel. Enameled metal products should not chip or flake off just because of a dent. This happened possibly because this material is not actually a baked on enamel, but painted instead, or the metal was not properly prepared to be enameled. Either way, this product is poorly made. It had a "Made in India" sticker on it. I would have expected it to be better quality than something made in China. I guess not. I do not want my dogs ingesting this so-called enamel. I am returning this for a refund.

I bought this because my cat is notorious for spilling his water. I like many things about this bowl from the sturdiness of the material to the style and paint and that is advertised as no tip, but my cat can still lift the edges causing spillage because It is not heavy enough
