This had made such a difference to help keep our mud room clean, especially with keeping the water in the bowl! The water bowl is bigger than our previous bowls, which I love. It was extremely easy to assemble and is very sturdy. With the back of feeder being higher, it protects our walls from water and food particles. I would recommend this product for pet owners of any size animal!

Size: This is the perfect dish if you have a sloppy eating pet. Both my cat and dog love the gravy style dog food, but it is very messy and when they eat it, it splatters everywhere. I did not really think that this bowl would work, but it really does. It catches all the splatter so that I do not have to wash the wall every day near where the pets eat. Also, it is super easy to clean. I just pick it up and run it under the kitchen faucet for about 10 seconds and all the spatter washes away. The openings also fit Styrofoam dishes, so sometimes I can just put the regular dishes in the dishwasher and replace it with Styrofoam dishes until it’s clean

PERFECT! Friend had one of these when I visited and it caught my eye. Dog bowl areas are messy. I had just accepted it. I was interested in this when I saw it and asked him about it. Let that sink in. Visiting a friend I struck up a conversation about a dog bowl. One day you're young and wild and the next day you're into dog bowl reviews. *sigh* ANYWAY... he praised it. I ordered it. Now I praise it. It is cleaner and easier. BUT THERE IS MORE. There are two benefits I did not consider. First: it honestly seems easier for our dog to eat not having to bend down as far. He likely doesn't care but it seems better. Second: I had been using the Amazon Basics bowls, the ones that can't flip over that resemble most other dog bowls. They worked fine, but they would get dirty and they are a hassle to clean. You can't put them in the dishwasher because of the shape they fill with water either way you put them in. These are just bowls, so you can just toss them in the dishwasher like a normal bowl and it's much easier to keep clean. I did look locally at a cheaper version of these and the quality difference and perceived durability was apparent so I spent more for these and I would do it again.

It works ok. The problem is it is very light, and if you have a big 130 lbs dog, like I do, they tend to push it around. For how much you are spending on this feeder, you would think that something would not be made with flimsy plastic.

It took me three tries to get the right size for my Bichon who has short legs but the rest of her is medium sized. I measured from the bottom of her foot up to her shoulder but, going by that measurement, I got a feeder that was too small. I ordered another time going by weight. That feeder was too big. I finally got this one that has optional feet and it is the right size. If only I could get her to use it. She is apparently afraid of it because she just barks at it when her food is in it and she won’t get close to it. I haven’t returned this one because it is well-made and really nice. Hopefully she’ll get over her fear. This one is very sturdy, much better than most other elevated feeders that are flimsy. It’s easy to setup and doesn’t slide.

Review of Neater Feeder Deluxe Mess Proof Dog Bowls Elevated for Large Breeds – Made in USA – No Spill Raised Slow Feeder Elevated Dog Bowl Stand w/Leg Extensions, Food and Water Bowl Set, Grey This is my second purchase of a Neater Feeder. I sent this to my best friend that recently got a German Shepherd puppy, her first, meet Ryker. For references, Ryker is 14 weeks old in the video and weighs 37 pounds. He is approximately 18 inches at the shoulder. Without the extension legs, the Feeder is about 15 inches from the top of the splash guard to the floor. He is growing so quickly (obviously), and she told me that he was beginning to lie down to eat. This Neater Feeder came with the slow-feed bowl, but she said he was having a little trouble with it, although he already has a slow-feed bowl that he does fine with. She also noted that when attaching the extension legs, the feeder initially seemed slightly unstable. Upon closer inspection, she discovered letters on the extension legs that corresponded to specific positions on the fixed legs. Once aligned correctly, the feeder became stable. It is important to ensure that the extension legs are placed in the proper positions. The extension feature is highly beneficial as it allows the feeder to accommodate a growing puppy that will eventually become a larger dog. Additionally, the splash guard and drain holes function effectively, preventing any mess after feeding, which was an issue prior to obtaining the Neater Feeder. My older Neater Feeder still appears new after almost nine years, and the current model seems to be constructed just as well. These feeders are easy to clean, and I recommend emptying any splashed water that drains into the bottom at least once a day to prevent water stains from forming due to evaporation. We highly endorse this product.
