Just received this mattress pad yesterday. It's well made, easy to set up with good instructions. The pump and heating unit is so quiet I wasn't sure it was on until the pad got all warm in just a few minutes. I've had an old electric mattress pad for many years, but my first night using the Neat pad was wonderfully better.     • Not Heavy At All
I expected it to be heavier but it wasn’t. It laid over the bed and I put the fitted sheet over it. I was worried that I would feel the silicone tubes running through it but I did not. It takes water in the tank that also heats the water and I can change the temperature with it manually on it and other functions as well. It took water but distilled water is recommended. It also has a water level on the main unit that lets me know current levels. It’s very quiet when in operation and even at night when background noise is at its lowest I wasn’t disturbed at all. It’s been made well and the fit and finish are spot on. A lot of thought has gone into the design style and it would look great with any bedroom decor. The directions were well done and the text was understandable without any issues. It does stay at the temperature we have set it to with no fluctuations that we could tell. Very pleased so far.     • Works wonders on sore muscles
This is such an interesting product and it’s very effective for cold nights and sore muscles. Setup is easy. Roll the pad out on your mattress and secure the elastic over the corners. There are two small hoses that connect to ports on the heating unit. I do wish the hoses came out at the head of the bed. They’re on the left side at the bottom so we have to move the nightstand to be able to place the unit and the hoses run across the path around the bed to the bathroom. They’ve been tripped over and the dog knocked the unit over twice spilling water. It’s an inconvenience but doesn’t affect how it works. It’s great that you can set a specific temperature and it will maintain it. If you just want to warm the bed, set it low. If you’re muscles are aching, set it higher. The sleep timer is awesome and definitely preferable to waking up at 3am sweating. This does come with a remote but I had trouble getting it to work consistently. It won’t work at all while I’m laying in bed because the hoses connect in the back of the unit, so the control panel faces away. But it hardly works when pointed directly at the panel. While not a deal breaker it’s annoying if I want to turn the temp up or down and have to get out of bed. Overall I like this pad. It really helps with sore muscles and is much more effective than a small heating pad or an electric blanket. If the hose was moved and the remote worked properly this would be perfect. Sleep is the foundation of good health. If you're not sleeping well, things are bound to go wrong. This mattress pad can be part of a healthy sleep routine. It uses water to help warm and soothe your body. It comes with a remote control so you don't have to get out of bed to make adjustments. I think this is a GREAT innovation. This Neat aqua pad is definitely a unique heated bed pad! The concept is you pour water (distilled recommended) into the machine which then heats said water. Then the heated water is dispersed into the tubing that is running throughout the mattress pad which in turn heats it up. The pad itself is of a very good quality and is comfortable to lay on without being to cushion like. I had no issues of it sliding around either which is a huge plus. Surprisingly you can’t tell where the tubing is in the pad, and it heats up the whole pad and not just the areas the tubing is. And best of all it works! Personally even though this is more expensive than the electric heated pads that are on the market, it makes me feel much safer leaving it on for prolonged periods of time. And it’s definitely a quality product to boot. I’m loving it! Would highly recommend, especially over the electric options out there. I got this because I suffer from back pain and usually sleep with a heating pad. I have never tried a full mattress pad so I decided to give it a go. Wow, this thing is amazing. It fits my bed perfectly and heats it evenly. What I love about this is that I can set the temperature to what I want. It has a remote control that is easy to use to adjust the temperature and I can even set a timer for it to turn off. Setup is quick and easy. My wife loves it as well, she said it helps with her arthritis pain.
