This Bird house is made out of cellular PVC, which will not rot, split, or fade, with a shiny copper roof. This bird house will light up any yard and also be a great home for birds. The center divider can be removed to convert to single compartment bird house. Post is not included.

This is a well-designed, well-built, and attractive birdhouse. It has two entry holes and a removable interior divider to create one or two nest chambers. It's made of plastic panels that are lightweight but sturdy. The plastic will not degrade like a wooden birdhouse will. The roof and interior divider are easily detached for cleaning. The seller was very accommodating with my special request to configure the birdhouse to mount on a flat platform. The media could not be loaded. I am very happy with this birdhouse. The seller was very accommodating in providing the smaller post fitting. I did not give this five stars for these two reasons. I hope by including them in my review, the seller takes note and makes adjustments. This is designed for two bird families, one on each side. There is a squared off divider that slides inside to divide the two sides. The problem with this divider is that it only goes to the top of the house part leaving a void above. This allows the birds to go over the top to the other side, building their nest wall up and over, blocking the other side from being used. In my opinion, the divider should come to a peak closing off the open space under the roof. The only other thing is the finial. The fit is very lose. I ended up pushing the pvc pipe [to which the finial is attached] through a piece of styrofoam to help keep it from moving. It fit so lose that I was afraid it could be lifted out in the high winds. If these two things were corrected, I would definitely give this five stars. As you can see, the birds are happy in their new home. ... show more
