I have used an over-the-counter retinol cream for years with good results, but after reading about retinaldehyde, I decided to try adding it to my skin routine. Because I had been using a fairly potent retinol cream, I thought I could start with a stronger retinaldehyde serum (0.1%), but didn't want to splurge on an expensive product. I chose this serum based on the reviews and price. I have been using this serum for a month and am astounded at the results. My skin already looked pretty good for my age (in addition to retinol, I have been using a Vitamin C serum and daily sunscreen), but my skin texture and tone are now noticeably better, smoother and more even, and some of the lines I had been developing between my eyebrows and on my forehead are significantly diminished, with the fine lines gone completely. My skin even appears to be a little "plumper" and has a nice healthy glow. I had no issues with redness or peeling (if you haven't used a retinol or retinaldehyde product before, you might want to take it slowly) and have only felt the slightest "tingle" when first using this on my skin. Product is easy to apply. Cream gel is pleasant to handle. Beneficial skin effect are noticeable within couple of weeks. I didn’t notice any adverse skin reactions . But please follow the usage instructions. I am definitely going to be a repeated customer.

    • It’s not supposed to have a straw 🤦🏻♂️
For all of you rating it low bc it “doesn’t include a straw”, IT’S NOT SUPPOSED TO. This is an airless pump system that squeezes the tube as you pump, thus pulling the product out. Do your research before rating a product low for literally ZERO reason… Now that that’s out of the way…this is my holy grail retinal. I have never experienced results like this from any other skincare product. I started with the 0.05%, and once I finished the tube, I moved up to the 0.10%. My skin is smoother, brighter, plumper, and more even-toned. What’s even better is that it’s more of an emulsion consistency that provides additional moisture, so it doesn’t irritate my skin or dry it out. Love the texture and consistency... So silky. I know from experience that it takes a few weeks to see a difference so I can't send you filtered pics claiming its a miracle potion. What I do know is that it is super silky, smooth, does not make my sensitive skin react and it's a very good price for the quality and amount. I will be repurchasing!     • Good Product. Same irritating results as Tretinoin.
This is a "good" product with good ingredients. But it dries and flakes my skin almost as much as Tretinoin. And leaves my face YELLOW until the next day. No results seen or felt like Tretinoin. Will try another method. UGH.

    • I was SHOCKED at how well it worked!
I don’t think I’ve ever written a skincare product review before. I’ve never had strong enough feelings in either direction to put in the effort of writing one. But this product warrants it for me. I have horribly textured skin with large pores, acne scars. I’ve always been self conscious of my pores and how my skin never looks smooth no matter what makeup products I used. The past two years I’ve been focusing more on skincare as I’m now in my 30s. I stumbled across Susan Yara and started learning a lot frill her and others. She is a huge advocate for retinols so I decided to give her brand a try. I tried the lower concentration of this first in my routine. I honestly didn’t see much of a result but I figured I would finish the tube. Once I was done, I decided to give the stronger version a whirl and omg within 4 days my pores and texture are extremely less noticeable. I was blown away seeing a result that quickly, let alone at all. I will absolutely keep using this. I will say this stuff is STRONG. I didn’t experience any sensitivity to the lower power of this, but with this one I feel a slight tingling when applying. I don’t experience redness and my skin doesn’t seem to be drying out at all (I generously moisturize). So definitely ease into this to be on the safe side. ... show more
