Top Amazon Reviews

  • Non-paid review! heavily tested 40 nights.
Color: Green - 210T Polyester
Update at the bottom but it is still highly recommended. It is light and that always takes a hit on durability. Know that upfront and be a little more careful with it because it is super easy to put up and very sturdy and actually durable with a little care. No muscling it in! With that being said it performed in every way it was supposed to and had no issues. It is the easiest tent I’ve ever put up. UPDATE: So I’ve ran it over a year. Anybody who rips or tears or breaks a zipper is putting too much muscle into it. Of course there is A defective product once in a while also. This is the best single man tent you could ever buy. I mean for $109 that is. Waterproof spray everything important twice. I do this with every tent I use every year. I spray the bottom side of the tent and the rain fly and also the footprint. The footprint that comes with the tent is also a really nice addition for $109 tent. I went through hail and tons of rain and wind. The windiest day on the Nebraska plains of the year. just point the tent which is the end where you put your feet directly into the wind. It cuts it like an arrow. I carry it on the back of a motorcycle so it has to be light and compact to be practical. I probably used the tent 40 nights. I can have this tent unpacked and put up including rain fly in 2 minutes. The support pole is one unit which really helps. The rain fly makes a small vestibule by the way. Perfect to keep stuff out of the weather or cook out of the weather without getting out of your tent if it’s super nasty out. And I don’t know why people are complaining about size and weight. First of all the specs are on the advertising picture at the top. If you pick the gray tent it doesn’t have a specifications page but just choose another color and it will tell you. But it is super light and small. As I said before that is the thing, to be very careful putting it up and taking it down. Watch yourself every time you open the zipper to get in. It’s $109 people. If you want to be able to muscle on your tent every time you use it then you do need to spend $500. It is what it is. I did a deep dive researching tents. I’m a very experienced camper and I just wanted to get the right thing. The closest tent is about 300 bucks. And that’s by what I could see. I mean that would have to be used and reviewed still. I’m sure you could match it for 500. All the stakes and pole Are aluminum. There’s two storage pockets inside the tent and a hook at the peak to hang a light or whatever. I don’t usually write long reviews but this is one of those things that deserved it. Thanks and enjoy ... show more

  • Great value
Color: Mustard Green - 20D Nylon
Incredible value tent. Missing some nice features more expensive brands might carry, but for the price I don’t think it matters. Biggest complaint is the stitching on the stuff sack is clearly not the best and probably won’t last super long, but putting things away gently seems to help. Have only used it about a week total so far, so unsure of durability/lifespan but super pleased so far. ... show more

  • This thing delivers for less!
Color: Navy Blue - 20D Nylon
This tent is solid and PLENTY of room for one if it’s set up right. (Scale: I’m 5’9” 175#) Could even fit two if they wanted to get cozy. Assembles in less than a minute. (Don’t forget a rock or hammer for the stakes!) It appears to be sufficiently ventilated. I slept with the fly on just to test this. Can’t speak to it’s water resistance, but seams are taped and look tight. Bonus it that it comes with a footprint that buckles to the fly at thee points if you want to forego the tent body and go ultralight. The shape appears to be designed for max wind shearing if it’s staked out properly. It even has three added tie down points higher on the fly for maximum stability. Another reviewer claimed that the vestibule zipper is low and too hard to reach, which is true, however I attached a lanyard to it and solved that problem. Overall, for the money this tent absolutely delivers, I would put it up against anything twice the price or even more. Buy this tent! ... show more

  • Great Tent, but I opted for the 2-person model
Color: Grey - 20D Nylon
While I do like this company and product, I found the 1-person to be a little tight for my purposes. I like to keep gear inside and outside my tent. For that reason, I returned this one and went with the 2-person model. Negligible weight increase and I get the room I need. This is still a great tent, though! ... show more

  • Great with minor flaws
Color: Grey - 20D Nylon
The overall construction of the tent is pretty solid, but one of the lacking parts of the tent it the pole material. The aluminum poles can feel flimsy, but are definitely effective still despite this. I have yet to experience the tent in rainy weather but I would recommend taking a silicone waterproofing spray and using it to reseal all corners and seams as it does get pulled tight when put up correctly. With my experience with the tent, it can also be hard to align the top seam of the rain fly with the poles, as it likes to fall to one side or the other and it can be time consuming to get it equally tightened on both sides. Beyond these few issues, I am loving the tent. I am 5' 11' tall with equal torso and leg length, and I am able to sit up straight with my head barely hitting the top of the tent. There is just enough room to stick a backpacking bag in the tent with you (as seen on the photos) and be able to still lay down comfortably. Overall this is a great starter tent for someone wanting to get into backpacking without spending a fortune, or a great tent for your kid to take and be able to beat up with little consequence. I would definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Groovy
Color: Mustard Green - 20D Nylon
Did lots of reviews ideal for price!!! Let’s see how she does in Gail force Colorado winds at alpine :) will update! Bottom floor was slick due to nylon but I wanted durability there’s also only a little room in the tent. If you’re taller than 5ft6 I’d recommend going to 2p. Stoked for backpacking with this booger this year! ... show more

  • Great product for the money.
Color: Grey - 20D Nylon
So far I’ve used this product 3 times all in the winter months with temps getting into the low 20’s high teens. Condensation does form quite a bit if there’s no breeze but that’s any tent. I’m 6’0 and have plenty of room left for me and my gear in the tent. The tent is easy to set up and comes with a great footprint. The tent seems to be made very well! Have had no issues so far. Haven’t been in a rain event to test waterproofing but I’m not worried! As a hammock camping for most of my life I wanted to give tents another try, but I didn’t want to break the bank but I wanted a light setup. This tent is your solution. ... show more
