  • If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
This product changed my life, and that's not an exaggeration. I suffered from 5 miscarriages, have had all the testing available to me through a reproductive endocrinologist and nothing wrong could be found. I had a 28 day cycle and got pregnant very easily- my pregnancies just ended for no apparent reason 5-7 weeks into it. Then, I started doing basal body temperature charting and realized that, despite the 28-day seemingly-regular cycle, I ovulated a week late (day 21 or so) and only had a week-long luteal phase. I was tired of testing, tired of experimental medication (experimental because I was never diagnosed with anything), tired of miscarriage, and wanted to find a natural and ideally effective way of fixing this dual problem. I researched a ton online and found that Femaprin worked well for women with PCOS (often ovulate even later than I do) and luteal phase defect (less than 12 days from ovulation to menstruation). Many reviews also said it helped with PMS symptoms. Sounded perfect for me! I was elated with how quickly Femaprin worked for me. By the first month, my ovulation day was pushed back by two days, my luteal phase was 13 days long, and my PMS symptoms were more than noticeably better. The second month I was ecstatic because for the first time since I was probably 14 years old I got EWCM, and lots of it!!! (For those who don't know that acronym, I didn't want to be too graphic, but you can Google it to find out). I ended up getting pregnant. My first progesterone draw, without any supplementation, was a 41 (normal range 10-47) when previous cycles I would produce sometimes as low as an 8 after ovulation! I am now 10 weeks pregnant and have kept taking the Femaprin (this is not recommended by the manufacturer) to support the corpus luteum until the placenta takes over, when I will start to wean my body off of it. My whole family believes that this product has changed our lives for the better, and we couldn't be more grateful. I know this product does not work as well or as quickly for everyone, but I wanted to share my success story because, to me, my situation previously seemed doomed, impossible, and now I have hope again that I can surpass this barrier in my life. I finally found something that not only works, but I don't have to worry about it having negative consequences or side effects for me in the present or future (something that I was wary of with Clomid and Letrozole, or any future drug a doctor might try to put me on). THANK YOU FEMAPRIN! Edit 02/04/2020: I have four kids now because of this. Took it for the first 12 weeks of each of their pregnancies and then tapered off. Had two miscarriages in between while NOT taking it. No one will ever be able to convince me that this wasn't the answer to my fertility problems. ... show more

  • Amazing product, few cons!
This product is amazing, with few cons. This is long so prepare yourselves. In October of 2015, I got off of the Depo shot. December would've been my next shot but I didn't take it. We immediately decided to begin trying for a baby. (We were aware that Depo takes awhile to exit the system, but we were hoping and practice makes perfect!). December 14th, I had a period. Depo always made my period funky, so I didn't think anything of it. Normal period, lasted a week, etc. December 29th, I had another. My periods looked like this for the next year: January 16. February 2. February 12. February 26. March 10. March 20. April 1. April 17. April 29. May 10. May 30. June 16. July 1. July 18. Etc. as you can see, about every 2-3 weeks I had a period. Normal, reasonable time, lots of clotting but nothing extreme. Doctors had no answer besides thin lining, and nothing stopped them (other birth controls, abstinence, nothing!). I ordered this product around February-March 2017. I took it the last day of my period (as if I was starting birth control) and my next period came 29 days later. That was the longest time I'd been without a period in over a year! But this is where it gets tricky. I had no PMS symptoms, no bloating, mood swings, nothing. But my cramps... my cramping had me in the ER. They lasted about 3 hours TOTAL but they felt like something was ripping my hips apart the entire 3 hours. I stopped taking the pill because I'm a wimp but my period has been on time (or almost on time) since then and I am forever grateful! TLDR; Pros- •Regulated period after a year of being irregular •No PMS symptoms •Energy •SEX DRIVE! Cons- •CRAMPS FROM HELL. •...sex drive. Lol. ... show more

  • I am in complete disbelief!
I am 32 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS about 6 years ago but before that. Prior to that, I have never in my life had a regular menstrual cycle in my life. My doctor put me on Depo to help regulate me with the hope that after a round or two of it, my body would naturally kick start itself and I would begin to ovulate. That never happened. Thereafter, my OBGYN put me on a birth control pill so that I would at the very least menstruate every month. I am already overweight, which I recently learned has a lot to do with my hormonal imbalance due to PCOS, and the birth control pills just made me retain water, gain weight and made me completely irritated to the point where I couldn't stand to be around myself. So, I went against my doctors orders stopped taking the birth control. More recently, my new gyno suggested I take Provera every other month just to bleed. I did that awhile, but I recently married and my husband and I would like to start a family. I met with a reproductive endocrinologist whom started me on 500mg of Metformin. I took Metformin for 3 days and I didn't like nasty diarrhea side effects or the idea of putting pharmaceuticals into my body, so I started frantically looking online for a better way to manage my PCOS in hopes that I a) Wouldn't develop some type of Uterine or Cervical Cancer and b) would be able to conceive. That's when I found Femaprin here on Amazon. Today is my third day on Femaprin and I started noticing last night that I was extremely aroused and couldn't keep my hands off my husband (which he didn't complain at all about!), only to find that this morning I started my period! Could this be true? Can this little pill really be what helps us have the baby we are praying for? I'm not sure, but I can not deny the fact that I actually menstrated without having to pump my body with synthetic hormones! I cant believe the expedient results I'm getting. I am sure every woman is different, but I can say that it seems to be working for me! ... show more
