Nature's Answer Alcohol-Free Eyebright Herb, 1-Fluid Ounce. Eyebright extract The common name, Eyebright Tincture refers to the long history of Euphrasia being used to support eye health. The Latin name, Euphrasia , is from the ancient Greek word, Euphrosyne, one of the three daughters of the Greek God, Zeus, known as the three graces. She is the grace who exhibited bubbly joy. The eyebright herb plant is an annual, that grows up to 8 inches high, and has small purple or white flowers which bloom in late summer and autumn. It is found in the wild in grassy meadows and pastures in Hungary, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and other countries in Europe. The whole above-ground plant is used as an herbal remedy. Eyebright has many chemical constituents which may exhibit astringent and cleansing actions. The best time to collect the plant is in mid to late summer while in full flower. It is commonly prepared as a fluid extract. Nature’s Answer Eyebright Tincture is unique. If you compare the milligrams you are getting per dose, you will notice that 2 dropperfuls (2 ml) offer a full 2000 mg of concentrated herb!

Eyebright liquid is a supplement to support vision. I have been taking it since approximately October 2024 as part of a strategy of nutrition including a choice trace mineral supplement (Min-ra-sol) and a nutrition strategy that excludes sugar, gluten, dairy, processed foods, and most animal-based proteins that I eat only sparingly. I eat fruits, vegetables, the occasional animal-based protein, celery juice, and other juices. I plan to (very happily!) eat this way for the rest of my life. Just as importantly, I also know what NOT to eat and that makes an enormous difference. With this approach I'm delighted to report that the "floaters" in my right eye are definitely healing. I started out with two "floaters" as verified by my eye doctor. One has healed and completely disappeared since the two were discovered in October 2022, just a little over twenty-eight months ago. The other has shrunken considerably and broken into two small pieces that are significantly smaller and thinner than I could have dared to hope happen! I hope that when I have my eye exam this year my doctor will tell me that he is also able to see a reduction in the prominence of the cataracts I was first informed of in December 2023. The Nature's Answer brand is among those recommended by Anthony William, a.k.a., the Medical Medium (MM), at his site MedicalMedium.com and under the "Supplements" menu option. I find that Anthony's advice about supplements is correct: quality matters. Buying sub-standard and cheaper supplements can even create obstacles and undermine the object of the purchases in the first place by introducing toxic ingredients into the body. I've found this to be true and am now an even more diligent label reader than I was just a couple of years ago. Anthony William has so far written eight books about using specific nutritional strategies to detoxify and thereby promote healing the human body, mind, and brain at any age. I have so far read and studied seven of the eight books; all are New York Times best-sellers. I would recommend beginning with his book, "Liver Rescue". This product is amazing. You put a few drops on your tongue and the blurriness in your vision goes away immediately not for long. It seems to work for one to three hours for me, but it does work.

I will give everyone a laugh who is reading reviews because in my mind when I purchase this I thought I was buying eye drops. I had previously looked at some herbal eye drops and this was an option that came up so I purchased it. When it arrived I decided I would give it a try and put one drop in each eye. I hope you're laughing because I sure did it burned like fire but did no damage thank goodness. Then I decided to read the directions and realized you're supposed to mix it with water and drink it or juice whatever you want to do. So I'm giving it four stars only because I have no idea if it works the proper way cuz that'll probably take a little bit of time being on the product but make sure you read the directions don't be like me. I'll be back to update this review after I've been on it for 30 days. I will add the tasters not that bad if you mix it with juice. And the value for the money that I spent on it if it works like it's supposed to is incredible. ... show more

    • I take this under my Tongue, and I notice a slight difference on day 3
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS ONLY TO BE TAKEN BY MOUTH....I am on day 3 and I do notice a slight difference in my one slightly blurry eye, and I am glad I bought it. Honestly I preferred lumineye but it cost almost 5 times as much and it is not sold here on amazon..I read the reviews of eye bright and decided to use it like lumineye tells you to use there product, under the tongue, by mouth....The first 2 days I use a full dropper in 2 ounces of water, in a cup, even though the instruction tells you to use two droppers full a day..I prefer to try it slowly . Day 3 : I took the full dropper under my tongue and let it sit for 30 seconds , swallow it, and followed by a 1/2 glass of alkaline water from my hydrogen bottle. I am going to continue to take it by mouth, under my tongue, every morning before eating, with my " focus " eye supplement..I am taking it in hopes that it will clear the lens of my eye that is age related slightly cloudy. This is the first eye supplement that I can feel a slight tingle in my eye after taking it by mouth which lets me know it is reaching my eyes and I pray it clears my lenses even more..I will come back with an update when it does..I don't want no doctor messing in my eyes. NEVER WILL I PUT THIS EXTRACT IN MY EYES. WE MUST TAKE IT BY MOUTH ONLY . ... show more

    • Not sure about it, but the taste is okay though
Only been taking for a short time. I am diabetic and my numbers are not under control right now, so I can't really tell if the eye bright is really helping. Also on new meds now, so hopefully I will soon be able to verify that the Eye bright is helping.

    • My vision has improved
So, I don’t write reviews very often but I wanted to leave a REAL review. I started using this supplement almost 2 months ago. When I first bought the supplement, my vision was a blurry. When I’d look at the radio screen in my car, the words and numbers were blurry …on a scale of one to 10. I think I was somewhere near 6. I take this supplement once a day, first thing in the morning I mix it with a small amount of water and drink it on empty stomach. Now, two months later when I look at my car radio screen, I can see everything clearly. On a scale of one to 10 I think I’m at a strong 8. Nature's Answer herbs are high quality. This is an herbal supplement to be taken orally! It is not meant to be put into the eye. Over time it improves the clarity of vision. I mix it in a glass of water. I take it once a day with my bilberry capsules (Nature's Answer) and lutein and xeaxanthan from Natural Factors 40mg. You have to be consistent. ... show more
