Nice variety of shapes and sizes, that are going to look beautiful in my fish tank. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality and I'm definitely going to be ordering more in the future. I put the wood pieces into a jug of water for several days to leech out the tannins. At the start, they all floated which was to be expected. Now, after almost a week the majority of them have waterlogged and are sitting at the bottom. There are a few stubborn pieces that still float but that's just the way it goes sometimes. I'll weight them down with rocks or something. As for the tannins, they definitely needed the soak. But it's been 24 hours since the last water change and it's completely clear now. So I'd say to let them soak for at least a week before putting them into a fish tank. Unless you want that black water look, of course. ... show more

These driftwood pieces were shipped and arrived on time with no disappointment. They are very interesting pieces that have added a natural look and feel to 2 of my aquariums. They are solid and do produce quite a bit of tannins initially into the water, so if you do not want the cloudy look in your tank I recommend soaking them separately for a bit before adding to your main display. Otherwise they provide a natural habitat that can be stand alone, or easily decorated with live or fake plants, increasing functionality in any aquarium. I put the smaller one in my 5 gallon tank and the larger in my 20 gallon. Highly recommend ... show more

Much larger than expected. They are so much cheaper than per store. Please rinse and soak well before using. They will turn your water brownish. All in all I am well pleased

Great for hard scapes in a terrarium or vivarium. Definitely have springtails in there because these WILL go through a mold phase. They look great and the variety in size and shape is much appreciated.

Exactly what I was looking for! I put two in my 20 gallon and one in my 2.5 gallon. I love how they look. I boiled them and let them rest. They have had some of that white algae develop on them, but that's normal with good drift wood!

Love how these look in my fish tank. Didn't take long to received them and the instructions on them is straight forward. I placed them without any weights and just allo it to sink on its own which honestly didn't take long to settle in place and was really floating to high from the base area. I arranged them to be intertwined with each other to kind of creat a cave look. My guppies don't go in much but will swim through time to time. But it's for later fishes that I'm planning to bring it that sit at the base level or mid level of the tank ... show more
