As the title states, Nice sleeve overall, but leatherette strap on zipper fell off after a week, I did find it and sew it back on, but with the cost of the sleeve should have better quality control, there are cheaper options out there

While advertised to fit the newer 14" Macbook Pros, I had a lot of difficulty getting mine both in and out of this sleeve. It's clearly designed for the last generation 13" models, which fit perfectly fine. It seems the company didn't want to redesign or produce a dedicated 14" model, so they were able to squeeze one in and advertise it as fitting. Getting it in is less of a problem than getting it out. There's not a great spot to grip the computer or the sleeve, and since it's so tight there's a lot of resistance. Getting the laptop in the case is no easy chore either, I am constantly worried that the zipper will scratch the laptop on the way in. My advice, if you have a 14" Macbook Pro, is to look elsewhere. It's a shame because the sleeve looks and feels great. Native Union needs to produce a dedicated 14" sleeve that is slightly larger than this one - when they do I'll definitely consider it. The material and construction of the sleeve itself are both very good, but the size of this sleeve doesn't work for the 14."

I am, frankly, a little disappointed with my purchase. Rather than buy a cheap, well-padded case like I usually do, I decided when I bought my new MacBook Air that I would treat myself to a really nice case. I spent considerably more than I normally would, but I figured it would be nice for a premium case. It is a nice looking case, overall. The fabric seems sturdy and looks good. The fit is just a teensy bit tight around the corners, and I'm not sure if the zippers will hold up but they are working fine at the moment. It is nicely padded, and while I haven't dropped it yet, seems like it would offer a good measure of protection. However, the workmanship is subpar. There are puckers in the stitching all over the case, making it look quite cheap. If I had purchased a $10 case, I might not complain, but this is a name-brand, promoted by Apple case that cost $40, so I expect it to look like it. Honestly, the cheap cases I have purchased in the past are better stitched and appear of better quality. I would look elsewhere for a premium case. Revision: This morning I found a package on my porch. It was a replacement to my original case! Other than this review, I have had no communication with Native Union and wasn't looking for anything, but they apparently read the review and replaced my original. As to the quality of the replacement? It is beautiful! It is exactly what I hoped for the first time, with nice, even seams, nice, taut stitching. In short, it feels like the quality I originally paid for. I would not hesitate to purchase another case from them in the future, and I am excited that my MacBook Air will be traveling in style and looking like it from now on!

I assumed that since Apple was selling this in their stores, the quality would be above par. Especially for the $40 price tag. The zipper is awesome and the fabric feels thick with corners that i would feel offer some protection from a drop. Now, my major gripe with this case is there are creases that run along both sides of the case and it seems the creases run in between the exterior material and the interior lining. Ive attached some photos. I expected better quality for this price, especially being recommended by apple and the price tag. I have their stow lite accessories bag, and the quality of that seems so much better then this sleeve. Too much of a hassle to return this so I'll probably just go ahead and keep it, just have to keep it i guess. Im sure there are less expensive options for sleeve's that can do the job, but i bought this thinking it would be excellent quality and craftsmanship, and was let down a bit regarding the creases running all over the front and back and rough edges. Just doesn't look high quality and seems like its not worth the $40 i paid in my opnion.
