    • Great headphone amp for mobile mixing
This is an awesome little device that makes mixing on a laptop so much easier, hell even just listening to ANYTHING is drastically improved. I have yet to plug a set of speakers into it but I imagine that would sound great as well. A thing to note: If you are planning to use this with Adobe Audition you will have some slight issues that can be worked around. For some reason Audition has an issue with the Traktor Audio 2 ASIO driver where sound will play fine, but the track cursor will not move. This can be solved by using ASIO4ALL which is not ideal, but works, though you may have to plug and unplug the device occationally, which really isn't a problem because it detects it lightning fast. I am an Audition user and even with this issue (which I hope they will fix soon) I would still get this device. ... show more

    • Great great great for digital DJ's and general listening as well
The sound it achieves is crystal clear and it packs quite a punch, I can focus my attention to each particular instrument/sound and make out every detail. The way it differs with the regular Audio 2 (non mk2) is that the mk2 has 3.5mm outputs and it weighs less. It is made of plastic but since it's quite small it feels really solid, build quality won't disappoint. It won't slip from surfaces because it has rubber on the bottom. Another thing to be wary about, the official driver only supports Windows 7 and 8, no Mac or Linux support for the OFFICIAL driver only. You can get it to work with Core (mac) and ASIO4ALL on Linux (if you are not really familiar with Linux then it can be quite a work to get them to work) ... show more

    • Affordable and Portable - wish for more controls and compatibility outside Traktor
This is a good affordable and portable sound card and the sound quality is excellent. It's nice that it doesn't take much space and doesn't require a power cord. I wish that there was a control for the main output level as well as the headphone output. The dial on the right can be confusing since it controls the mix of the main output going through the head phones. It would also be nice if we had more choices than 1/8th inch stereo for hooking up, but there are plenty of adapters out there to solve that issue. I am using this with Mixvibes Cross so I have to use the ASIO4ALL driver - the official driver wasn't working for me with that software. I respect companies that keep things open so the choice to have the driver locked in to Traktor is a bummer, but not that out of the ordinary. ... show more

Just perfect. Works with anything that you can throw at it on the pc....requires a retarded adapter for the ipad. Sounds quality is top notch and I use it everyday as a audiophile headphone amp. Purchase with confidence. German design quality assured. Deutschland! Update I have set up a music studio and this is my sound card connected to the mixer and the audio that this punchy guy streams really helps my music production quality and my monitors love it. Just stopped working. Tried replacing cable as recommended. No luck. It makes a nice paperweight. It sounded good when it was working.

Native Instruments Traktor Audio 2 DJ Audio... Hi Team, I have ordered a new Audio 2DJ Sound card from Amazon. com ORDER # 002-1472870-3976241 , it just got delivered yesterday 1/1/2015 . when i ordered it was showing as Native Instruments Traktor Audio 2 with A and B marked on the Sound Card. But when i opened the box and observed it says Audio Dj for Ipad Ipod and Mac PC , but i dont see any cables included in it. And the Input ports looks very small when compared to the pictures on NI website and Amazon.com . I want to know if i have ordered right sound card or is it the newest model of Audio 2DJ, if yes thenhow do i connect this Sound card to My Mixer or any other device because i dont DJ on Ipad or Iphone . I want to use this as external Sound card for my PC laptop. Please suggest Cables which one would fit in to it. I just got two USB cables one for Iphone/ipad and other for conecting Audio 2 to PC or MAC . I had older version of audio 2 which had cables included and it had A B marked on the Audio card . if cables are missing were do i go and request Amazon or NI . ... show more

I recently purchased the Traktor 2 software so I could map my Akai MPD32 Midi Controller to it. Figured I could work around not having to buy an actual traktor S2/S4/S8 considering I already owned an MPD32. It is less conventional to control mixing music with that but I'm making it work. I didn't know that you had to have two audio outputs to be able to cue up music to mix in, as the actual traktor controllers have a soundcard built in with which you can cue up by plugging your headphones into the actual unit, and plugging your Traktor unit into your laptop. I was getting frustrated trying with workarounds (adjusting my audio settings in my computer) and couldn't get anything to work. Finally decided to drop the hundred dollars on this thing and it has been COMPLETELY WORTH IT. Driver installation takes very little time, you plug it in and set the master audio output to the "Audio 2" then from there, you can split it into two. So I plug this into my computer via USB (which takes up the one audio out from my computer, I can no longer use my headphone jack when this is plugged in), then from there I plug in my speakers to one of the ports of the audio 2 and my headphones to the other. It has cue monitor volume control and mix control on either side, has rubbery surfaces on the bottom so it doesn't slide around on a countertop, and works like a charm.
