This Downswept Douglas Fir tree is 7.5 feet tall and has a 32 inch diameter base, creating a slimmer profile and making it a better option for those with limited space. Friends and family alike will marvel at how the tree closely mimics those outside. Molded from real tree branches for an authentic living tree appearance, this tree features our trademarked ‘Feel Real’ technology. Hundreds of crush-resistant polyethylene tips form full bodied branches, creating a tree with remarkable realism. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. This fantastically festive tree is strung with 350 white UL lights prior to packaging and includes a sturdy, metal base for a more convenient setup. The lights operate individually, so if the bulb lens has not been cracked or broken, the light set will continue to illuminate except for any individual bulbs that are not working. This tree is an amazing purchase! It’s EXACTLY as described and the video set up made it so easy to see how remarkably beautiful and natural-looking this tree is! I had thought I was finished trying to put up a tree every year. In my 70’s it hardly seemed worth it with often traveling to be with others, my own home didn’t seem so important when it came to holiday decorating. However it was so heavy and lights often didn’t work plus was very difficult to put together.:( About an hour ago this new 7.5 National prelit tree was delivered. I just finished completely putting it together in less than an hour! I followed the video instructions and had no problem at all. I even followed the instruction to finesse the branches on the top portion before connecting. I sat on my couch to do this! NO LADDERS. I even put my star on top before I hooked it together. DEC 1 is today and thanks to National Tree Co and Amazon , I have over a month to enjoy this gorgeous reminder of this beautiful season in my home❤️🎄👏🏻. It’s beautiful! Natural-looking. I have 9 ft ceilings so this 7.5 foot tree fits perfect. Its footprint is great, slim and sturdy. The tree’s branches are soft and realistic looking. I was able to adjust them so that there was minimal viewing of the pole in the middle. The lights are a warm white, which I love. This is a sturdy tree - great for a narrow area - has a realistic look - you can manipulate branches for open areas to feature your dangly ornaments - plenty of lights - narrower than a full tree, but wider than a pencil tree. Take the time to "fluff" the tree before decorating. I'm a happy customer. *update: the actual tree did well, but part of the bottom tier lights have gone out. I can't see where the problem is as there are no burnt out bulbs. But I have noticed this seems to be a reoccurring problem with this tree. ... show more

The tree was absolutely full once we fanned out the branches. Plenty of lights adorned the limbs and the tree was easy to set up and take down. The only drawback, if you want to call it that, is that plugging in the lights to each other is a bit cumbersome and they all have to connect towards the bottom of the tree rather than the top one connecting toward where the top and middle parts meet and the middle toward where the mid and bottom go together. All 3 cords need to meet closer to the bottom, and then an extension cord has to be used since the cord bundle is too short to reach the wall. But we figured out a good setup for our tree and it looked magical. Very happy with this tree and its quality. ... show more

Pros: the tree looks good and it’s easy to set up. It’s perfect for a slim space and fluffs out nicely to give an appearance of fullness without taking up much space. Cons: the base doesn’t secure the tree very well (it’s just one screw, not two or more) so as a result the tree leans a bit and sways with any touch and is kind of flimsy. It looks great, especially if you add an extra light string or two and as long as you stick to light, non-delicate, non-breakable ornaments, it’ll be fine. But I wouldn’t put anything heavy or breakable on this tree as I’d be afraid of it tipping over. This is great for kid-made ornaments out of things like popsicle sticks and other light, non-breakable items. This is our secondary tree for the smaller family area and it works well there. Our formal tree in our living room is a Balsam Hill tree and it’s much sturdier and able to support heavier/more delicate ornaments. If this tree had a stronger base that secured the tree better and prevented the leaning and swaying, it would be 5 stars. ... show more
