This majestic Aspen Spruce tree is 4 feet tall and 28 inches in diameter at the bottom, giving the tree a wide profile. Made to look and feel lifelike, the stunning realism of the tree is defined by its close attention to detail, featuring hundreds of individually crafted branch tips that make up the wide, full-bodied branches that create space for your lights and ornaments. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. The top is wobbly- not sure why but I don't want to get a ladder and take it back apart. Overall, it looks okay after all the branches are positioned. I gave it fewer stars because of the top.

Just took the tree out of the box. It’s easy to put together but definitely does not look like pictures posted for this item. Also, I’m 6’1 and wife is 5’7 and tree is most definitely not 6ft! If it wasn’t such a pain to box back up I would send it back. Now we know we should probably buy at a store to actually see what it looks like. ... show more

You should be ashamed of yourself. Have you ever been in such a Christmas spirit that you spontaneously order a festive tree while bored at worK? Well I was, and I did, and I waited by the door for 2 whole days, 48 whole hours, 2,880 whole minutes just to welcome the spirit of St. Nicholas into my apartment. The box came. I was filled with holiday joy. My elation rose with every step I took. My eight years of no Christmas tree had finally come to an end! or so I thought... I opened the box and found another box. Classic box in a box to increase both suspense and excitement. Cool. I did that to my nephew back in '09, worked like a charm. I opened the second box and with a half-lit glow, the faux evergreen branches looked so realistic all piled together that I thought I heard the chirping of a polyurethane bird who had spent years living in this simulated fir. I took the base out and set it up. Sturdy, yes, and I began to imagine the tree standing tall (4 feet, to be exact, allegedly). Logically, I then took out the bottom section, placed it in the base, then the top section, and I placed that on top. I then straightened out the branches, and to my dismay, the tree looked like 4 off-brand pipe cleaners held together by a few pieces of chewed bazooka bubblegum. It looked pathetic. In a panicked, frenzied state, I began to fluff out the branches, or more accurately, attempted to, because the “needle” portion was only the ending third of the scrawny branches. I can see through the tree at almost any point. I was expecting more pieces in the box but could not find any. It is reminiscent of the pathetic excuse for a tree from A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965). While A Charlie Brown Christmas has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 92%, this pile of plastic and incompetence looks 0% like a tree. In fact, a maple tree in December after all of its leaves have peacefully fallen to the ground would look more like the Christmas trees we have come to know and love than what I received. I would feel comfortable playing catch through this tree with a football; the gaps are that large. At one point, the branches are so far apart, that you could set up a full-sized manger scene complete with every lamb, camel, and ass that attended that night. I am the laughing stock of everyone I know. My Christmas spirit has been squashed beyond repair. I’d like everybody’s attention. Christmas is canceled. If you want to be disappointed like me, buy this tree. If you want to be too embarrassed to tell you mother of your misfortunes, buy this tree. If you celebrate Krampus, buy this tree. But if you have any decency in you, or respect for the beautiful holiday that is Christmas, DO NOT BUY THIS TREE. ... show more

Easy to set up. Spread needle branches out starting closest to the trunk working my way out repeating two branch out, one branch up until each of the 3 sections were done. I sparsely decorated the tree and it still looked full compared to most trees it’s height. I ended up putting it up on a small pedestal for a window display at my work (I work at a marina) tree will take up little room for storage until next year. I have included some close ups of my ornaments so you can get an idea of the details of individual branches. Branches look better than most fake trees I have seen in the big box stores lately. Most of the smaller trees of this size have inferior branches and you still have to put lights on them which is a pain to wrap around and take off year after year. This one is great because you just set it up, straighten up the wire branches, and plug in. I am happy to be using this for many years. ... show more

I received this in November and opened it up and looked it over, but didn't set it up at that time. Just took it out today to decorate for Christmas, and I have to say that I am very disappointed. The tree comes in 2 parts, which I knew. The stand is metal and very durable looking. At first, it looks as if the bottom of the tree is too big to fit in the stand, but it will, you just have to push hard and force it in. The branches on the bottom half of the tree are hinged and open up easily. This is where the disappointment starts. After opening up the bottom branches, I spread out all the tips, but the tree is still very bare looking. I spent a lot of time spreading them out to try to cover the bare spots, but that's all you can do. The top of the tree attaches easily to the bottom, but those branches are not hinged. You have to bend them down, which makes me wonder how many times I can put the tree away and set it up again before they break or loosen. The top half is more dense looking than the bottom, so I tried bending those branches down more to help the bottom half, but you can see from my photos, it didn't help. As far as it having 100 lights, I really doubt that. I tried to count them, I counted about 60. My husband asked if I could send it back, well, it's up now, so for me, it's not worth the effort. I just want prospective customers to see what the tree really looks like and don't go by the photos that are provided. ... show more

As I was reading the reviews I was skeptical to buy this tree. You cannot pull a tree out of a box and expect it to look perfect, it takes time. I used a small clipping of garland in the center of each branch system just to cover up the metal branches, but you could really go without it. Take time with your branches and get everything looking the way you like it it will not be perfect the first go around I recommend toying with this tree for a few days to get it to look realistic. Bending the bottom branches up and giving them a curve will help quite a bit. A trip to the dollar store and some added glam would make this tree perfect for any Christmas situation. We bought a 6ft tree my husband is 6.1 he is taller than the tree. I am 5.1 and the tree has maybe 2 or 3 feet on me. But it’s a good first tree for a newlywed.
