We are so happy with this tree!! Some important things to note if you're thinking of purchasing: 1. Take the time to separate each of the individual stems, one-by-one. It's tedious, but well worth it in the end. 2. The video everyone refers to is on the National Tree website under instructional videos. Here's a link: http://nationaltree.com/instructional-videos.html The same fluffing/shaping instructions are also provided in the instruction manual. 3. Wear gloves or long sleeves when you put it together. By the end of fluffing and separating you will probably have some scratches or irritation if you don't cover your arms. It's nothing too major, just a heads up if you want to avoid it all together. 4. Each group of branches has three smaller clumps on it. Be sure to pull both left and right sides away from the center clump and then start to individually separate the stems in each section. I have found that this method helps to really fill any empty spaces in the tree. 5. In the instruction video and manual it said that the three sections are tied together with a tie or string, but mine came wrapped in a wired faux-pine strip, which was completely camouflaged in the tree. Hopefully telling you this will save you some time, so you know what you're looking for to release the hinges. I really do love this tree, it has the perfect amount of lights, and the little brown detailing on the stems really gives it a "real" look. I'm not sure why there are any negative reviews, because for a faux pre-lit it's a reasonable price and it looks beautiful if it's assembled correctly. ... show more

    • Great tree, nice and full!
My family is allergic to Christmas trees so I've had artificial trees all my life, and this is the nicest one I've owned. There are more branches that are closer together, meaning that it's fuller when fluffed. It does also mean that it takes longer to fluff since there are more branches to tackle, but it looks a lot nicer if done right. One thing I did this year that I'll do going forward is wear a pair of thick kitchen gloves that cover my arms. This made it a lot easier to go into the branches without it hurting/scratching my fingers/arms, so I ended up doing it a lot faster than many of the other reviews suggested.     • Bad tree investment. Potentially dangerous.
Well, this tree almost wrecked Christmas. We purchased it in 2012 via Amazon and thought it decent but over-priced the first year. That was our first year with our new daughter so we wanted the "perfect" Christmas. By the second year some of the branches were becoming unhinged if you looked at them wrong despite very careful storage. We might as well of had a real tree with how many needles dropped on the floor. But when the branches held, it still looked pretty decent. On the third year, two light strands no longer functioned despite changing fuses. We looped over additional lights and no, we didn't daisy chain in a different brand into the tree's lights. We had two separate cords to the wall. Well, this year, my Father-in-law celebrated Thanksgiving with us and as he lives far away and is ill, we decided to throw the tree up quickly and celebrate with him before he left town.We plugged in just the tree's original lights and every strand blew, and every bulb blew. Black tips at the end of every single bulb. While trying to make sure the problem was with the tree and not our wiring, the top third of the tree fell completely off. The stake that secures the top portion of the tree has glue around it. Well that glue apparently didn't want to stick around. We had to dismantle the remainder of the tree quickly and rush to the store for an unplanned tree purchase. We decided no more pre-lit trees and far prefer the replacement we scored for $60 to this nightmare tree. We are just thankful it didn't catch on fire. ... show more

    • Nice for the price
This is a fairly nice tree, especially for the price. The lights are not carefully wrapped to the tip, and not tight and secure like the more expensive trees and on the top half of the second section actually were just hanging in places and I had to wrap them onto branches to be tight. When I set it up, half of one string would never light and I had to put my own string of lights on to make up the difference. It is darker green than the picture and all the same tone of green and of course not as full as the picture. It was easy to put together, just plenty of fluff time involved. It is not as fat a tree as it looks in the picture either. In my experience almost nothing looks as good as its "sale" picture, so this was not too much of a suprise. All in all it looks beautiful decorated, does not tip easily, and was a good price so I am happy! ... show more

I have bought many artificial trees over the years and this has been the Best & Most Beautiful Prelit tree I have ever purchased! I read reviews for "Days" on artificial trees and this is the one I kept coming back to. I have "0" regrets about the purchase of this tree. So easy to set up. Takes a little time to fluff, and I am a perfectionist, so took me a little longer, but in doing it right it is so Full and Stunning. The white lights are actually WHITE and not that yellow color most tend to be and that was a Big Plus for me. 2nd best thing about it is that it looks more like a real tree than artificial tree. There is so much I Love about this tree, but it as an absolute Must Have tree for me. First tree I actually want to sit and look at. ... show more
