I bought 2 each of both 3ft and 4ft trees. I am decorating now and my hubby is laughing. I put up 1 to 4 trees of varying sizes in each room. Good: They were very easy to assemble and fluff the branches. They are made of metal and the branches look sturdier than the wood trunked trees I am replacing. The lights haven't been turned on long enough to review the quality and longevity, but number of lights is skimpy. Bad: The metal trunk makes them look ugly. It's wrapped with brown, fake grass looking stuff, not reaching the stand 2 inches. The 4ft trees are half trunk; they need at least 2 more rows of branches. The branches are sparse, need more needles. The 3ft trees are better proportioned but the trunk wrapping is still ugly. Brown painted metal would have looked much better. Overall, I'd pass on these, even though the alternative is Hobby Lobby's alpine trees which I dislike the tops of. After Christmas, I will try to strip the brown stuff off and attempt to paint wood grain or wrap the trees with wood grained ribbon. Anything to make them look like there's a real tree trunk. ... show more

This tree was easy to assemble. I also Like the height. The problem is that I put up the tree a few days ago and the tree was half lit. I tried and tried to get them to work but no success. I did t have time to return so I took off the lights and added new. Too much work.

The 3-ft. tree is perfect for a sofa table in front of my dining room window. I used about 30 medium sized ornaments. The branches are not extremely full but I think it is proportional to its size. I would have preferred LED lights, but the clear lights are nice. It was a little bent when I first assembled it but was able to straighten it easily. The 3-ft height is from base to top, there is about 8-9 inches "trunk" from base to bottom of the branches which leaves a bit of bare space to deal with, but I used a bit of greenery and wire-edges ribbon to give it a more finished look. We have full size trees in other parts of the house but needed a smaller size to add a festive touch without taking up floor space in a room with lots of foot traffic when entertaining. Cute little Charlie Brown ish tree for a small space, but it needs another string of lights. The second photo is after I added another 10’ string of clear lights. Fits well on an end table. Could’ve been just a bit fuller but overall a decent value. I love the brown trunk.

The tree is ok quality. I had to do lots of fluffing to make it look like a actual tree. In the pictures online the branches seem to come down further than in real life. Don’t know that I would buy again.

Compared to other pencil trees I've seen, this tree is of poor quality. The base is unlevel and leans, so when the three sections are put together, the tree leans, and is wobbly. The top section just sits loose in the bottom section. If you want to move the tree, better scoot or pick up the entire tree. If you scoot, you may scrape your floor, esp if it's hardwood or vinyl. The tree is extremely bare, making it impossible to hide the ugly glued on mess of lights, It looks like a blind drunk person glued them on. How this tree got all the 5 star reviews is beyond me! I've had to return sooo many items from Amazon in the last year or more, and for me, that long walk into the place where I must take returns is getting longer...esp with larger items.... that I'm going to try and deal with this tree for now. If I can't, then back goes another Amazon item, with the help of a friend who can carry it for me. ... show more
