It was easy to set up. Having the combination of 2 types of branches really improves the look of the tree. Some artificial trees are so expensive and they may be wonderful, but that was not in our budget. This tree was more moderately priced and a great value for the money. I was worried about the quality of the tree , but was pleasantly surprised to find out it was really nice. It did take a while to fluff out, But all the time spent was well worth it. The feeling of the branches are substantial and soft, so it was not painful to do. The color is very lifelike as well. If you take the time to do it you can make it look full without holes. So much nicer than the trees I saw for a lot more at the box stores. Definitely would recommend and buy again. Now to decorate! ... show more

We ordered the UNLIT 7.5 ft tree. Good decision after hearing horror stories about pre-lit trees whose lights go out. The tree arrived in a very large box and took 2 of us to lift. It was very easy to assemble and only took about 30-40 min to fan out and shape the branches. If you play Christmas music while you do it, it can be fun. Start at the bottom and work your way to the top. It looks quite full but still leaves room for ornaments. The outside tips are a strong plastic and the inside "needles" are textured like a strong, thinner paper giving the tree some good dimension. The top section was a bit crooked so we had to bend it to make the tree straight. Otherwise it would have gotten five stars. We are very pleased with our purchase! ... show more

Overall, so happy with this tree!! The quality for the price is great. I took the attached pictures mid-assembly and fluffing tonight - definitely a lot of branches within each section. It is very full and has mixed needles, which make it look more realistic! I think it'll look even better with additional fluffing and some lights/ornaments! ... show more

    • Don’t waste your money on expensive trees - buy this one!

Our less than 3 year old pre-lit tree from Balsam Hill started having lights issues last Christmas. This year they never would go back on, and we discovered the plug cover was melting (thankfully we didn’t have a fire). I ordered this tree after researching cheaper unlit trees as I will never invest in a pre-lit tree again, and did not want to give the other company another dime of my money. This tree consistently came up on several websites with great reviews. Don’t be discouraged by the tree freshly out of the box. It takes a few hours to properly fluff it out and string the lights. The real feel branches are at the very ends and feel and look great. The tree has no gaps, and fully decorated (heck even bare) it looks just as, if not more expensive than the high end trees. Buy it! PS- if you don’t have protective gloves for your hands, you’ll want to invest in some for fluffing and stringing the lights, also a large tree bag for storage. ... show more

I had high hopes for this Christmas tree, especially after meticulously going through countless reviews and user-uploaded pictures. It's disheartening to say that what I received was far from the advertised product. The description proudly boasted a "realistic tree," but what showed up at my door was more akin to a cheap imitation. The branches are sparse, revealing the pole through embarrassingly wide gaps, making it look anything but a lush, full tree that was promised. It's more "holiday horror" than "holiday cheer." The photos on the listing were clearly misleading—possibly a different product altogether. The most frustrating part is the hefty price tag attached to this disappointment. I invested a significant amount of money, expecting a top-quality, realistic Christmas tree. I feel misled and extremely dissatisfied with the purchase. This experience has certainly dampened my holiday spirit, and I’ll have to look elsewhere to find a tree that genuinely matches the description. The tree came in 3 easy-to-assemble parts. Even with partial heavy handling (with the help of my 3 year old), the leaves of the tree remained in-tact. Quality is good, the shape is nice, pricing impressed us, and we are happy we went with this tree vs those cheaper in price and quality and those that are several thousand dollars.
