It has a bit of an oily feeling on the branches I guess is the best I could describe it which is one of the only gripes I have for a tree in this price range. Could just be the feel of the plastic or byproduct of the manufacturing process, at either rate it's no big deal but I washed my hands after "fluffing" the branches. As far as those who are complaining that it is not a full tree with lots of space, only did about half the work decompressing the branches, and I looked at their pictures. An additional 30 minutes of work from where theirs were and it looks a lot more full and you need to make sure you fluff all the parts of the branches that go all the way back to the trunk. It's pretty stable, looks surprisingly realistic for being artificial and I've had a couple artificial trees in the past which were just fine and this looks much better. And my last one weighed about twice as much so this was nice being a little lighter. The branches are fairly tough (strong) to hang ornaments on the heavier side on them. I've had plenty of real ones cut from the woods that had half the branch strength. All in all I'm happy with this tree and it looks better than every single one I've seen in every type of the big box stores. ... show more

Great tree. Looks so very real. It takes ALOT of “fluffing” out of the box to get it to look as good as you’re expecting. Easy assembly, but alot of “fluffing” needed out of the box.

If you want a beautiful, sturdy, realistic fake tree, look no further. read the good and not so good reviews before buying this tree, after agonizing and studying all the “big brand” trees from everywhere for over a year. I was close to purchasing one from balsam hill, but the price kept making me pause. I’m so glad I didn’t get a more expensive tree and instead got this beauty. I did initially take a few hours to carefully separate and fluff each branch making sure that the inside ribbon branches were in a fan like pattern. There were times I wondered if there would be enough room for all the branches! It’s a tremendously full tree. Some of the branches also split into 2 or 3 branches which help fill out gaps and give it more of a natural look and feel. I did have to twist around some of the formed tips to the “right” side, there should be a yellow(ish) branch vein on the top side, but that’s the only fault I’ve found with this exceptional tree. It’s a bit on the heavier side, but I won’t be moving it anytime soon. The top branch is very strong and is holding up to our rotating Santa star amazingly, our old tree used to slightly move with the star’s rotation. I really can’t say enough how pleased I am with this purchase and we will be enjoying this for years to come. ... show more

The amount of comments I get on this tree! I am so picky with the decor in my home, I want it to feel luxurious and modern. This tree is 1000000% worth it.

The tree I received was not new, it was used, at least for long enough to collect dust and scrape paint off the bottom area of the trunk where its put together. It wasn't heavily used or anything but it wouldn't surprise me if it had been the floor model somewhere or something. It was really dusty for some reason and got my allergies going. I also found out why it was returned, if it was. It shouldn't have been sold without replacing the bottom T frame that holds the tree up as the soldering was faulty on one part and the bar goes upward with any weight applied. I fixed it as best as I could for now using gorilla tape on the leg that was bending upward at the soldering and pulling free of the smaller stabilizing bar under it, at least it can't go up far now unless both bars bend together. It still doesn't sit straight and I had to put something under the opposite side to help even up the space still left. I bought this tree last spring and took my chances on trusting that it was in the described condition. That was my fault for trusting something I didn't inspect upon arrival, so I am going to keep the tree and look into replacement parts. I paid way to much for the issues I now have to fix, but I didn't pay full price at least. However, if I had gotten a new tree like I was supposed to then I would have considered it well worth the money. Its a nice looking tree once you finish "fluffing" it out. I love how there is room for my ornaments to actually hang throughout the branches and not just lay on the outside. Its one of the more realistic looking trees and I love how the ends of the branches are molded plastic with realistic coloring. The overall shape and the way the branches sit is close to the real version of this particular type of tree too. I've seen plenty of them all over when on vacation in Colorado. Once I finish wiping everything down to get rid of the dust and get the lights on it will be fun to decorate. I will definitely be storing it assembled and enclosed in a tree storage bag so that I don't have to mess with all the lights and stuff again for a few years. Overall, I am a bit disappointed, but not enough to go through the trouble to try and exchange it for a new one. It is definitely the style I want and I would send back the bottom frame to exchange if needed but its not worth sending back the whole tree. Once I get the issues fixed I hope I can enjoy this tree for years to come. I will be quite satisfied with it once its fixed. ... show more

This is a high quality tree and we'll made. My wife loves the tree for it's weight and easy to handle. Loves the construction of the tree. And really loves the look of the tree with an exception. The exception is that the tree is just not full enough. My wife was wondering if we were sent the right tree because the fullness in the pictures and the tree we received do not match up. The model number and dimensions however, match up perfectly. My wife made sure to spend a great deal of time to fully open and extend all the branches to get the appearance as full as possible. This is the only reason she is wanting to return the tree. I found that the tree was well thought out, staggering the main fold down branches. However, as you can see from the pictures, not only is not as full as the product pictures deplict but you can see the different levels from top to bottom. We are sad that this on didn't work. ... show more
