Description
The Artificial Kingswood Fir Christmas tree offers a slightly thinner profile that may be a better fit for areas where space is limited. The hinged branch construction goes up fast, leaving more time for holiday cheer. Tree branches are pre-attached at the center pole using a hinge system, with each branch lowered into position in preparation of final shaping. The fir tree decor is designed with a fire-resistant and non-allergenic material making it a great accent piece wherever it is placed. A diameter of 30 inches at the base, it also includes a metal tree stand and assembly instructions. Lights, decorations and ornaments are not included.

Downsized and our 2 yr old large 8' full size pre lit just doesn't fit the only space available now. Ordered this beautiful artificial slim Christmas tree 6'.5" (with no lights) Kingswood. It arrived on time. Was on a great sale price after Cyber Monday $49. and looks amazing shaped out arranging branches with just warm white lights we added tonight. It's a very full slim tree with lots of branches and you can definitely shape it out to look full & there are a lot of needle coated branches to shape out to lots of taste specific looks. If you've had an artificial tree before you know some needles "shed" we have light grey blue carpet and none fell off. None laying in the box. So it's well worth the price for a very nice full plush slim tree. Stability tested metal stand it's not moving and we've got it on a wooden solid platform base we use with all our trees. We're adding a decorative collar instead of the skirt we have just for a more finished look. Absolutely love this tree. People use the word fluffing however shaping branches arranging makes it very full. Absolutely happy with this purchase and we're all pleased with the appearance.

This artificial tree exceeded my expectations. It looks full, realistic, and well-made, with sturdy branches that hold ornaments nicely. Assembly was straightforward, and fluffing the branches was easy and made a big difference in how natural it looks. Once set up, it truly resembles a real tree without the mess of needles or watering. It’s a great value for the quality and will definitely last for many seasons. I got the 7 foot tree. It is not pre-lit. I have a very small house and it fit perfectly. It was great to have such a nice looking tree. It holds a lot of ornaments. The price is excellent and I feel the quality is great. It is easy to put together and the stand is sturdy. If you want it to look nice, you have to take your time putting it together. It goes together easily, and there are enough branches for a full look. However, you need to have patience fluffing out the branches. You will have to carefully separate each one and strategically spread them nicely for a full look. This is true for any "fake" tree you purchase. If you find you have bald spots, try spreading the branches a little better. I recommend a bottom-up approach. Put your tree in the middle of the room and start fluffing on the bottom branch and work your way up. I didn't stack the tree first. I worked on the bottom section and added as I worked up. These branches are staggered so they look more natural. When you are ready to put it away it fits into the box.

** TL;DR: Worth the cost! This tree is pretty good quality (considering the cost). Easy to assemble, full appearance when fluffed, great for small spaces. Expect some fraying where the branches are secured but not enough to worry about (in my experience). Overall, a good find. ** I spent a lot of time reading reviews for various trees before sticking with this one. As with any other product, it's important to read between the lines with reviews. I always weigh the negatives, as well (looking for the actual warranted, helpful ones) as positive so I can make an educated decision. This tree had some negative construction reviews that, in my opinion, weren't enough of a deterrent for the price. Between those reviews and the positive reviews (and pictures), I decided I'd risk it. I'm not disappointed! Especially given the price. Pros: The size: Height wise (7.5ft), it's perfect! Just tall enough to fill out the space without feeling cramped. I'm also very pleased with the width. Usually I go for the Douglas Fir with it's full, wide branches, but our space is limited this time. The pencil shape isn't too narrow and still has the appearance of being full. Assembly: Incredibly easy to put together. Well packaged with caps on the ends of each segment to prevent puncture of the box. Stand is easy to set up, as well. It took less than 5 minutes to figure out what went where and put it together. It took approximately 30-45 minutes to properly fluff the tree to give it a more natural appearance. (It will not arrive looking like a tree, fluffing is essential to getting the look right). No needles fell of at any point during assembly. The branches are hinged (except the top piece) which makes for easy assembly. Appearance: Nice fullness when fluffed. Yes, there are "gaps" but even real trees have these. For the price point, I'm satisfied with the appearance. Once fully decorated, it won't even be noticeable. Looks fairly realistic even from a short distance away. You probably won't enjoy if you prefer over full tree. Cons: Construction: I'm disappointed the branches don't snap into place like my older artificial tree. They just fold down with no means of keeping them in position so, while fluffing, branches kept moving around on me. They can't go far, but it's nice to have them secured for set up and decoration. I also saw multiple branches with frayed/loose threads (something I read about in the reviews) toward the back of the branch. It doesn't appear to really effect the construction yet, but it comes across as sloppy and has me thinking I won't get as much time from this tree as others. I do believe it will still last a few years, though. Appearance: The branches and needles look obviously plastic up close. Not terrible for the price but a bit of a downer. Still, it's difficult to find a tree with a true realistic appearance without dropping hundreds of dollars. Overall I'm (so far) extremely pleased! For $80 I couldn't have asked for a better tree. I'm so excited to decorate it and see how it holds up/looks with everything on it. If you're looking for a nice, inexpensive artificial tree, I highly recommend! I rated 4 stars because it is a decent tree that I'm pleased with, but has a couple flaws.

I have been looking for a slim (but tall) realistic looking artificial tree to dress up the new office/library space in my home. I've looked at Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, Big Lots, TreeClassics, and HomeDecorators (these last two are online only stores). While I found some trees that would work, none were as slim as I wanted (I was looking for a tree with a base width of approximately 30" rather than 36") and most that were at the height I wanted (7.5') were priced between $150-$300, which was simply more than I wanted to spend. The less expensive trees that I saw just looked cheap and fake. Because I have plenty of strands of lights already, a pre-lit tree was not a requirement. I finally found this one on Amazon, and based on the reviews and pictures, decided to order it. I'm very pleased that I made this decision! This tree arrives in a box measuring 39"L x 11"W x12"D. The box is made of a thick, heavy cardboard that can be used for storage after the holidays, which will fit easily into a closet or basement storage space. My 10-year-old son and I unpacked the tree and had it assembled in place in about five minutes; set up was simple. The tree consists of three sections and has a small stand. The bottom two sections have hinged branches that basically fall open into place once the tree is upright. The top section has grouped branches for the bottom third and single branches above these that are attached directly to the center pole and can be bent down into the position you desire. There is an eye screw in the stand to stabilize the tree once it is assembled. The branches are well constructed, with realistic needles. There was very little needle shedding during set up. Right out of the box and placed upright, the tree looks nothing like what is pictured in the listing. There are huge gaps between the branches, and it looks very strange; each branch must be "fluffed" by opening up the individual pieces on each branch from their compressed state. My son and I only spent about 20 minutes "fluffing" the branches after standing it up. My photos show what the tree looked like after we were done with this initial set up. We have a 7.5' artificial green Alpine fir that we use in our family room (purchased about 14 years ago from TreeClassics) and have found that the best method for making these trees look full is to start with the innermost section of each branch (the part closest to the center post) and push open into a modified star or flower shape, so that the inner pieces are spread wider than the outer section pieces (see close-up photo). I will continue to "fluff" the branches a bit more, until I'm fully satisfied with the way it looks, but I expect that I won't need to spend any more than an extra 10-15 minutes on it. You can see from my pictures that the naked tree doesn't look quite as full as the picture shown in the Amazon listing, but once I finish "fluffing" it and add the lights and ornaments, I'm sure that it will look great; I will update my review with additional pictures once the tree is fully decorated. At the time of my purchase (in mid-November 2016), I paid the FULL price of $76. I did not receive any discount, nor was I given any incentive for leaving this review.

Love this skinny, "pencil" tree. Very full, with almost too many "tips"(lots of work unfurling!). I really appreciate that it doesn't take up too much space and yet you have a tall, majestic tree on display. Excellent tree for condos and apartments. Very happy with this tree and the cyber Monday price was great as well! Highly recommended.
