This tree’s easy set up it was my time saver this year! Unable to leave the house to tackle Christmas I took a chance on Amazon for decorations and, it was perfect! I chose this tree for its size and width for my foyer, it was super easy to assemble, mainly following the steps on the video suggested. Not too many parts to put together. The lights worked very well and were already pre assembled on the tree. The base is good and sturdy and easy to flip open . It already comes attached to the bottom piece ! This tree will be cherished and used a lot in the years to come. I find it perfect for those areas you want to add a tree but never think you will have the space, my back covered terrace is long and narrow but I can see using it there for our now Christmas Eve dinners , or in our bedroom ( it’s perfect for a corner festive mood), for sure I will buy a couple more next year to really bring in the festive snowy winter wonderland around the house !!! Wonderful tree! I got it on discount for $60, and it looks so so good. Super easy to put together and is perfectly bright. Seriously, no complaints at all, I absolutely love it! For those complaining about fullness, they must not be doing it right. Take your time, and do it on each part before adding the next as you build the tree. The only con is that it isn’t quite 6.5 feet. It’s a few inches shorter total, and keep in mind the top branch is about 6 inches of that height when standing straight up. Overall, I’m so so happy with this purchase and I’d 100% buy again! ... show more

Despite what some of the reviews say, this tree looks full after about 1-hour of separating all the branches properly. Very easy to assemble the 3 sections on the tree stand and very stable. Did not notice much, if any, shedding of tree as I positioned the branched. Well-constructed. The bottom section has about 14 tips per branch, middle section 11 tips per branch, and top section 8-9 tips per branch with uppermost area having individual tips coming from the main trunk. I gave it 4 Stars because it could use more clear lights. Each branch throughout the tree has only 2 strands/rows of lights per branch, simply lights up/down each branch. The lights look acceptable, but could look better with more lights. There was, at least one branch on the tree that did not have any lights on it. But this is an economy tree. A 100 light, LED strand costs about $22 so you could easily spend 1/2 the cost of the tree ($83) adding more lights. Overall, very happy with the tree. The tree will look nice once I get decorations on it next Christmas, even with the number of lights that came on it. It will be full and I may not even notice the number of lights & have that complaint with it fully decorated. I liked the photos of decorated trees I saw in the other reviews. Northern Tree Company has been around for 60 years. It has a 5-yr limited warranty against manufacturer defects. I would recommend this 6.5' x 28" diameter slim tree. ... show more

Ok so i did have to return the first tree i ordered, half the lights on the middle section didnt work. I was mildly dissapointed but the return process was very easy, ups picked up the old tree within a day and they printed a label for me as well. The replacement tree that came in worked wonderfully, it is fairly full and does not look like a cheapy tree, GREAT for small spaces and setup was easy, there arent many lights on the tree but i am satisfied with the lighting it gives off. We needed a very narrow tree as we’re temporarily living in an RV while our home finishes. We still wanted a decent-sized tree but couldn’t afford the extra space our full-sized trees take up. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this tree was out of the box. One thing I didn’t realize is that these are NOT led lights. To be fair, it doesn’t state anywhere that they are, but I just assumed and didn’t bother to check before purchasing. We’re currently running on solar and the amount of power the small strand of lights on this tree uses is the equivalent of our entire outside set up which includes a few blowups, two full-sized trees with led lights, and several lawn decorations that are also lit with led lights. Long story short, this consumes as much power as the dozen or so [much longer] led strands do. My husband wrapped with led lights and that solved the only issue I had with the tree, but again, that is absolutely my fault for not seeing it was lit with traditional lights prior to purchasing and is not the fault of the seller, nor does it take away from how nice the tree is itself! If you prefer traditional lights and/or don’t mind the additional energy consumption then this is perfect straight out of the box. Our fifth wheel has two pop-outs in the main living area and the photo shows how perfectly this tree fits in one of those spaces and the tree only takes up about 1/3 of the total floor space in the pop out. ... show more

When I hit my 60s, I began to lose interest in having a really big Christmas tree, and began looking for something that wouldn’t require furniture moving to set up. I also didn’t want to spend $250 and up for a tree, regardless of how realistic it looks. After a lot of research, I added this one to my Amazon list and hoped for a better price during their pre-Christmas Prime Days. Bingo! It was delivered yesterday, and though it’s only October 13, I immediately set it up to see if it was reasonably attractive, easily fluffed and had working lights. Success on all three counts. This one took less than 20 minutes to go from box to decorating-ready. The light strings do have to be pulled down to the bottom of the tree from each section. I had a green power strip and just used that for right now. But it easy to hide the lightless string ends along the trunk of the tree. Once I made sure the lights worked, I immediately decided that, undecorated, it’s so unobtrusive that I’m just leaving it up until I decorate it in 5 weeks or so. The empty box is so small that I was able to store it in the back corner of the front hallway closet, which is where I’ll leave it once the tree is back in it. No more hauling trees up and down the basement stairs! I purchased the three year extended warranty for about $6. This is my first pre-lit tree, and I’ve read horror stories of the lights not lasting through even one holiday season. The price of the tree was so inexpensive that, after three years, I may just buy a new one. If I have trouble with it, I’ll come back to report on it; otherwise, this is my strong recommendation for this tree. Edited November 14: It’s cold out and I decorated the tree today. I’m really pleased with this little tree. I like it much better than a tabletop tree, but it doesn’t take long to set it up (20 minutes or so) or decorate it (and hour or so). ... show more

I liked this set up but the lights were really strange. I had to I have a plug for to fop, middle, and bottom. I thought they would link together but… no. Other than that ok.
