Despite what some of the reviews say, this tree looks full after about 1-hour of separating all the branches properly. Very easy to assemble the 3 sections on the tree stand and very stable. Did not notice much, if any, shedding of tree as I positioned the branched. Well-constructed. The bottom section has about 14 tips per branch, middle section 11 tips per branch, and top section 8-9 tips per branch with uppermost area having individual tips coming from the main trunk. I gave it 4 Stars because it could use more clear lights. Each branch throughout the tree has only 2 strands/rows of lights per branch, simply lights up/down each branch. The lights look acceptable, but could look better with more lights. There was, at least one branch on the tree that did not have any lights on it. But this is an economy tree. A 100 light, LED strand costs about $22 so you could easily spend 1/2 the cost of the tree ($83) adding more lights. Overall, very happy with the tree. The tree will look nice once I get decorations on it next Christmas, even with the number of lights that came on it. It will be full and I may not even notice the number of lights & have that complaint with it fully decorated. I liked the photos of decorated trees I saw in the other reviews. Northern Tree Company has been around for 60 years. It has a 5-yr limited warranty against manufacturer defects. I would recommend this 6.5' x 28" diameter slim tree. ... show more

    • Great tree for small spaces!
This is a great little tree. We have a very small living room with only about a square yard to wedge a tree between bookcases. This tree fits beautifully and does not feel crowded. More importantly, once fluffed up a bit, it doesn't look bare and sparse. Very happy with it, especially at this price!

Would not recommend … None of the sections connect… Intuitively you would think they would the only way to make it work is to run two extension cords up the middle for section at the top and the middle and then the bottom one can plug into your outlet or put them all in a strip cord that’s ridiculous ... show more

I must say this is the most adorable real looking Christmas tree I’ve had in years. I am totally in love with it. I bought the 6.5 ft tree. It seems a little smaller than 6.5 ft. But I don’t care it’s so beautiful. Just be sure to tighten it at the base. It’s very sturdy. It's not a bad little tree, but it certainly needs a lot of love. The price seemed to good to be true, and it probably was. It doesn't look at all like the picture, and that rubs me the wrong way from a consumer standpoint to be sure. PROS: Nice size, fold-up branches. If you need a tree for a small corner, this is a good one. CONS: It's sparse, as in somebody grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around it in hopes it would grow more branches and more needles. It didn't work. BIG PROBLEM: NO OUTLET ON THE TOP STRAND FOR A STAR/ANGEL/WHATEVER. That was highly annoying, but WAIT! There's a fix to all of the cons if you're willing.... I already had a lighted strand of garland, which was the same color as the tree. It had a plug on the end. I plugged my angel into it, filled in all of the gaps, and brought this tree to life. IT WAS A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE! So if you're willing to re-utilize some additional lights and/or garland, you'll probably be okay with this affordable tree. If not, avoid it. ... show more

I was very skeptical buy a skinny tree online. This tree has exceeded expectations. I took my time to fluff it, at least an hour. Added some blue lights and had it done in 2 hours. Very full and realistic. Just take the time to fluff it!! I paid for this what I paid for my last live tree, excluding the base holder. I have had it done for a week and every morning I walk out and see it and say what a pretty tree! Again, don't cut corners on time of fluffing-thats the key! CHEERS! ... show more
