This tree is EXACTLY what I wanted and SO much cuter than I thought it would be due to some posted pics in negative reviews. I now realize that those horrible pictures in the reviews were because they didn't separate the tree limbs which took about 30 mins. My 5 ft tree came in three pieces which all slipped easily together in 30 seconds. All the branches are attached to the tree already, but you do have to raise each and every branch up and then separate each and every limb. Does require patience. This tree is everything I had hoped for and more. It is gorgeous! My husband and I both commented that we thought it was going to look Charlie Brown-like when done, but both of us agree it absolutely does not. I put a 17 foot strand of mini string lights on it and it fit perfect. I am beyond happy I picked this tree!!!!!!!!!! Just bought another 6' one for downstairs!! ... show more

For the price, this can't be beat. Our house is laid out weird so the only place we can really put a Christmas tree is in our "front" room so there isn't anything fun and sparkling in the living room. Was looking for a narrow tree that wouldn't break the bank and this fits the job! It's five feet, and wished the six had been available, but I have it up on a wooden wine crate to give it a little more lift. Yes, the branches are sparse - that is the intended design. Put some lights and a few colorful bulbs on it and with the exception of it being on the short side, it's exactly what I was looking for. (There are a few reviews with photos where the tree looks terrible - I'm fairly confident they put the pieces in upside down - you can tell by where the trunk "should" be.) 100% recommend if you have a small space and this is your budget! ... show more

Good for the sparse look, which is what I was going for. If you want a full and lush look, they sell gorgeous ones at Lowes that are skinny yet fluffy and full, and for not much more cost. I’d recommend that. But since I already had a normal full-sized tree in another room that was fluffy enough, I wanted this one to be more minimalistic and simple, with the thinned out/sparse look and just a single strand of lights and no ornaments. My mom did the opposite. She has the same tree yet fluffed it and put tons of decorations on it, and so it has a totally different look. So it is possible if that’s what you’re after. I am so proud of our little tree! It was the perfect size for our studio apartment. As other reviews say- definitely take the time to spread the branches apart to give it a ‘fuller’ appearance. I hid the base by standing it up in a decorative basket. Great value :)

My best friend moved into his 1st apartment after all these years. We put matte colored balls and amber lights .He absolutely loved it !! This coming from a man who has always had the traditional big fluffy tree and horrendous amounts of ornaments and lights. Very pleased with the height and width of the tree. Especially due to a very limited area he has. Plus he can use by itself or even just keep the amber lights on during the rest if the year. ... show more

So, you’re probably wondering if this is worth the money and if it will fluff out to look full. Yes it’s worth the money!! No, it won’t fluff out like your traditional Christmas tree, so if that’s what you want, keep looking. My husband and I love this tree because it’s MINIMAL. We found one on West Elm that was almost triple the price, so this was a great second to that! Note that this is NOT pre-lit, so you will need lights if you want them. I attached a before and after, so know that you CAN make it look more full with filler and ornaments, but this tree is not a typical full and fluffy tree. Would I buy it again? 100%! Worth the money? 100%! Will I need lots of ornaments and decorations to fill it so it’s not a charley brown looking tree? 100%. ... show more

This tree is perfect for a small spot in your home. I have beside our brick fireplace and it looks great! I added some fairy lights for some sparkle. It was super easy to assemble and the quality is great for the price!
