I received my tree in 5 days, it was very well packaged with double box, no damage whatsoever. I could not have asked for a more beautiful tree. One thing was it measured 44" from the bottom of the base to the very top, so it was not 48", no big deal for me. It does take at least 1 hour or more to get all the limbs in place just right place, as I am a nitpick when it comes to perfection on the shape and the lights. Overall I am very happy with my Xmas tree. The old one fell apart so it was time for a new one. After some deliberation, and looking at youtube videos, I decided to get this one. For the money, I think it's a good buy. It's certainly fuller than ones I saw at other dept. stores. Mine does NOT have a mode for flashing, although the lights by themselves and the colours are very pretty. The tree slots into the gold pot and it's not that stable. I thought I would be able to slot in and twist for stability, but no you just slot in. So stability is an issue. I ended up pushing it back as far as I could onto the top of the small table where the tree is placed. Overall happy though and it does look very pretty. Now I understand the whole 'firework' effect now that I can see this in person and IMO it's a superior look to a regular LED design tree. Glad I went for the firework tree. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a beautiful, if, in my opinion, a rather over-priced, fiber optic Christmas tree. It has the rotating color pattern wheel over the bulb in the base that causes the constantly changing, shimmering effect you can see in my video. It's the 48" one. It was, with tax and shipping, about $109 but National Tree had given me an Amazon gift card vs. refunding my money on a previous tree of theirs that I returned. So, be warned about their return policy. You may not get a cash refund sent to the card you used but a gift card instead. Anyway, it brought the total cost of this tree down to a little over $70 and, fortunately, I liked this one much more! Doesn't come with any ornaments but I added a few small ones as I began to decorate it a bit. Very easy assembly. Branches just need to be flocked a bit. ... show more

Bought this tree to replace old fiber optic white tree. Wanted another white tree, but nearly impossible to find. My only complaint is that our white tree looked beautiful during the day, and this green tree does not. Looks gorgeous at night, though, and at the suggestion of others, I added a string of white lights to add brightness. Very satisfied overall! ... show more

I have a kitten & didn't put up my tree last year out of fear that he would destroy my expensive decorations. I got this to "test" him & he sampled a bottom branch while I was putting it up, but that's it. I have been looking for something less labor-intensive & trust me, THIS IS IT. All you do is put the legs on the stand, set the tree in, fluff it up, plug it in & you're set. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, the bottom 3rd of the tree is a bit lacking in fullness & could definitely benefit from some added branches, I also wish there was a way to slow down the motor so that the transition between colors was a little smoother. The way it is, it's a little "busy" for someone that's used to all warm white lights, but I still love it & am very pleased. ... show more

I looked at many trees before purchasing this 4 Ft. National Tree Fiber Optic Tree. It is beautiful when lit-the colors are bright and blink on and off. It came out of the box in one piece and fit directly into the gold base. Another reason I purchased this Tree. The base is so much nicer then a prong stand. It fluffed up easily and is quite full. It's so lovely I've decided to keep it in my Bay Window. Since it doesn't have attached ornaments it looks like a green plant during the day when not turned on. I've had many people comment on how pretty it looks at night when I do light it up. I had no problem with the light in the base. Just connected the plug to the tree and my outlet. I bought a fiber optic tree last year for 3 x's the cost of this one. No comparison. This one is just beautiful. My neighbors agree. Annie ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very pretty fiber optic lights that twinkle and fade and twinkle and fade. Perfect shape and pretty gold base. It comes in a skinny box, and all you need to do is put the tree in the base and spread the branches. The branches are sturdy and supported well the heavier ornaments that I have. I have a kind of love hate relationship with this tree. I am disappointed that it is far from natural looking. It looks fake and proud of it. This is a tree that stands on its own. No further decoration. I am fascinated by the fiber optic look and the jury is still out as to my care for it in the long run. This is not a tree for someone hoping for a natural tree look but it is for someone seeking a more high tech type tree experience.
