  • Great quality, but buy yourself a storage bin too
Style: 225 Piece
Edit: needs more "hub" and "extender" pieces This is a great product... the pieces are all sturdy, easy to fit together in many different ways, it says it's for 4+ but more realistically it's for older kids, like 6+ just because it can be tricky to put together and to plan out.... also, do yourself a favor and get a storage bin to go with it bc it's a lot of pieces! ... show more

  • Great gift for ANY kid of any age.
Style: 135 Piece
My kids love making forts…. But it always involves draping blankets and sheets over the dining room table and it just becomes a disaster. We got this kit for our five year old for his birthday. His nine year old brother also loves it. We got the package with the most pieces- and if you’re debating on which kit to get, get the big kit! My five year old does need my assistance in setting it up- but once it’s up (and it’s easy to do) he’s just fine! If I had one suggestion for Nat Geo though ! If their website had an option to purchase additional pieces! I mean I know I can buy another kit right? But it would be nice if we could buy like a ten pack of the clips….or a ten pack of the green joints…. It really is so fun though! ... show more

  • Fun if you buy multiple sets
Style: 135 Piece
I purchased a mix of the 70 piece and 135 piece kits when they were on sale to maximize the number of dark blue connectors and light blue half dome connectors. Here is a fort I built with my 5 year old kid with the # of parts we needed (photo shows more light blue half dome parts, I didn't want to take apart the fort to remove them). My kid definitely needs an adult /older person to help twist and/or insert the poles into the connectors. We put a flat bedsheet over top after this photo was taken and the fort is still sturdy. My kid moved pillows and blankets inside and has been sleeping there all weekend. ... show more

Comprar con mucha anticipacion ... show more

  • Too tough
Style: 135 Piece
I love National Geographic, so I was sure this would be great for grandkids. Nope. Too difficult.

  • Awesome!!
Style: 225 Piece
This is a really cool set. Got it for my 2.5 year old. He can’t build himself a fort yet so I built one for him and it’s pretty solid. We covered it with a sheet and it’s holding up fine. We have found that there is a lack of some of the better connectors (the blue ones), but we were still able to build an epic fort. ... show more

  • Hard for a kid to use unsupervised
Style: 225 Piece
Good idea and quality is really good. A lot of connectors. However it is hard to connect by a kid on their own and once you get more than two long, it becomes flimsy. Hard to attach a light blanket. Still cheaper than getting PVC piping and connectors from HomeDepot :)

  • Weak connections
Style: 225 Piece
Some of the connecting parts are just not very sturdy making for long frustrating builds. My son and I were frustrated because as soon as we made progress the rubber green pieces just don’t hold. Now it’s just 200 pieces of extra plastic to pick up…
