At first i wanted to give one star because when we received our coffee table there was no hardware to put it together. Instead of calling amazon the was a customer service number for Nathan James customer service. WOW I do not remember who I spoke with but she was incredible. She apologized on behalf of Nathan James she looked up parts and got them out us in a hurry. She also followed up via email until parts arrived. Got parts a table put together and looks great. A month later Nathan James sent us a small box of Godiva chocolates. It was very unexpected. Who does that? There was an apologetic card along with the chocolates. There was a mishap with a coffee table I ordered. They ended up accidentally sending me a bar cart. I called to get it figured out and for the inconvenience/Covid-19 they told me to keep the cart as a sorry/thank you gift. Score! Then a few weeks later I received a box from Godiva with a little box of chocolates from Nathan James as another conciliation for the mishap. If that isn't awesome customer service than I don't what is!! The coffee table was also great (as well as the bar cart) looks great in the living room and can be separated or combined. I absolutely love this set. It’s exactly as described and I frankly think it looks better in person. Everyone loves the set and honestly I bought them to be a dupe to the crate and barrel set that is $1400. I can not say enough positive things. As far as value for the money I would give it 10 stars if that was possible. I never write reviews but I couldn’t help but let anyone know if they are on the fence about buying these do it. Loved the shape and functionality of this two piece set. The iron base is beautiful but the “wood” top is not wood. It looks like a veneered paper and I’m pretty sure it would get watermarks and warp pretty easily. I chose this because the description said wood over similar items that truthfully detailed it wasn’t wood. The tables look nice, as shown in the pictures, they arrived on time, well packaged, and their customer service is very professional and helpful. I was amazed by the high standards of their service and how well Nathan James brand stands behind their products. Absolutely love my new coffee table. It is a perfect size for a small living room, especially with the small table being able to tuck under the larger one. It is not ver heavy,so it is easier to move around if needed. Added the perfect warmth to my room and great value for the price.

Fairly easy to put together, is pretty sturdy, exactly what I was looking for, and slightly cheaper via Amazon than other sites. The only thing that I'm personally not excited about is that I wished it were more of a shiny wood rather than a dull wood. It also seems like it might get dents or scratches fairly easy as I've noticed a small place or two that I don't think was there at the beginning. Had it for almost 3 weeks and it’s already got two chips. One in each table. They are small but they happened quickly and I’m not sure how. We love the tables and how they slide into one to save room, it’s an awesome idea just needs to be better quality for those with kids or who are rough on things.
