Okay this is maybe my 2nd amazon review in my years of being an avid amazoner but it’s so necessary for this product/company. I ordered this with the intent of having it in our house for our NYE party. I assembled the entire piece only to find out that the glass piece (the last step) would not fit due to a mishap in the metal frame. SO I emailed the Nathan James Furniture directly and they got back to me right away, on a Friday late afternoon. They understood how frustrating that was and told me they were shipping out a new piece right away. I informed them how I needed it for the party however with it being a holiday weekend and wasn’t prime shipping, it did not arrive in time. HOWEVER we were actually able to fix the one we had and use it!!! They told me not to worry about sending anything back but just to keep both pieces, amazing. YOU’D THINK MY POSITIVE REVIEW WOULD END HERE BUT IT DOES NOT!!! A month later, I get a random package from Godiva Chocolate and I thought my boyfriend was being super cute..... well it wasn’t him. Nathan James Furniture sent me chocolate truffles from Godiva to apologize and thank me for my patience. I MEAN REALLY?! Never have I ever experienced such incredible costumer service. I’m still so amazed. Besidesssss that, the bar cart is perfect. Love the look of it and it’s nice and sturdy. Was exactly what I was looking for. I absolutely love this bar cart. I was looking for something to add to our dining room to make it more welcoming and hospitable and this was the perfect addition. This bar cart was for our little log cabin in the NM mountains. I searched for quite awhile as it needed to be smaller, blend with casual southwestern decor, and be sturdy enough to move around for parties. The cart fulfills all my requirements. Was super easy to put together, taking about 20 mins. I’m very pleased and highly recommend. (Tip: sometimes a screw would act ornery and not go in easily so I’d try a different one and it would work fine; the ornery screws always worked in another place.) ... show more

This item is a horrible disappointment and I strongly recommend you avoid it despite the Amazon recommendation. Both the initial and replacement were received with rusted ends to the posts that cause paint chipping when you screw it together, and there are small scratches and chips on much of the metal components. It looks cheaper than pictured as well. Cherry on top was my experience with the Amazon return was a thing of nightmares with one of these sitting on my front step for a week before being picked up, the other not being scheduled for pick up nor fitting back in the box, and my growing so frustrated that I just ate the cost and got rid of this hunk of junk. ... show more

The overall look of this bar cart is fantastic. It was easy to assemble and I particularly liked the funny manual as you progressed towards each step in the building process. You don’t need any tools besides a few things that already given to you in the box. There were a few issues with one of the bolts unable to be screwed in towards the end of the carts construction that was annoying. Luckily, I didn’t have to use it to complete as the cart was sturdy enough. The wooden/glass parts fit easily into the cart and all you have to do is clean the tempered glass once placed. Overall for the price you pay, it’s easy, simple, and effortless to put to put together and the overall carts aesthetic is appealing and looks great. Fits right into my home. This bar cart purchase was a Christmas gift to my niece and she loves it. When I asked her what she liked about it she told me everything, and it's sturdy, rolls nice, and looks very modern. The only thing she wished is that it had a wood base on the top shelf instead of glass. So I would buy it again with no problem. The only problem I had was with Amazon, a few days after I had already received and assembled this item, they dropped the price $20. I contacted the manufacturer thinking it was their price adjustment but it was by Amazon. And since Amazon doesn't do price adjustments, they said I could return it for a full refund. I wasn't about to take it from my niece after she had assembled it. I was upset that they would not honor the price difference. I contacted Nathan James and their customer service person Melanie was very helpful offered me a Amazon gift card for my issue. That was very nice of them and I appreciated their gesture. So, I recommend this item and any purchase from Nathan Brown. And the bar cart has a 5 year warranty, pretty good. ... show more

The pieces were very well organized in plastic bags with numbers which helps a lot. It’s not harder than ikea’s furniture to assemble. Quality is similar. The cart looks really nice and the wood doesn’t look bad as some comments mentioned it. I like it, perfect for the price. (I really enjoyed the jokes on the instructions manual!) ... show more

The original package was missing a piece, so I was unable to fully assemble the cart. The provided instructions included an email to contact customer service. They responded quickly, and very kindly sent a replacement cart that included the missing piece for the first, so now I have two carts! Customer service was very helpful, and had the replacement cart in the mail as soon as possible; the owner of the company even mailed a package of chocolates as an apology, which was unexpected.
