This shelf is very high quality, looks great, was easy to assemble, and the company has phenomenal customer service. The shelves are sturdy and heavy which I find hard to find in most affordable furniture. My shelf has one flaw, a chip/dent on the top but the company handled it extremely well with a fast response with multiple choices to ensure I was satisfied. You can absolutely be assured that if your order is damaged in any way, you will be taken care of. I will recommend this company to people and will visit their online shop whenever I need more furniture! My one complaint is the packaging. Although things were packaged well, the styrofoam was a downfall for me. I would love to see a more sustainable way of packaging. I've been a prime member since forever and have never written a review. So here we are: This bookcase fits the bill nicely. Assembly was (almost) seemless, and the product is identical to the photograph as shown - clean and modern. The legs on this piece are handsome and are made of solid wood, which really does elevate the plain white laminate a few notches, visually speaking. The company says, "Try this storage unit for 90 days IF YOU DON'T LOVE IT YOU CAN RETURN IT!" I think I believe them. I can attest first hand that this company really does appear to stand behind its products and its customers correspondingly, one way or another. In my case: I bought two units, but one was shipped with a defective shelving piece, with one shelf oriented as such that the connectors were located at the top and not hidden on the bottom as expected. So a phone call was made and in just days, an entire new unit was shipped to my my door instead of spare parts. What's more is that a diminutive box of Godiva chocolate also arrived just a few weeks later. Pretty classy, I'd say...I think that we're dating now - this company and I :°) Stellar management team, I'd say! Just an all-around pleasant experience. It's too early to tell if this product would survive a cross-country move, as laminate is notorious for its propensity to fall apart when roughly handled. But as laminate goes, this storage unit is deep, good looking, and just about perfect for my needs. Absolutely no complaints here. ... show more

Cute cabinet. Took only about 30-45 minutes to put together. The only flaw was the doors are uneven because of the predrilled holes. Other than that is cute and good enough for us.

I purchased this piece from Nathan James to use as a bookshelf in my 3 year old son's room. I wanted something different, sturdy and more mature looking so he can use it for years to come. It was more money than I wanted to spend, but I did it. I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase! It is just what we wanted for our growing boy! I loved the feel of this company from the start! The directions were easy to follow and kind of fun the way they were written. Upon assembling, we realized that we were sent double of one piece and missing another piece. I called the company right away and received prompt, helpful and super polite service from Cameron. He assisted me with what we needed and stayed in touch with me the whole time. I was even sent a small gift after as a token of their appreciation for my patience while they worked to correct the issue. Unbelievable! Well my package arrived a week late. And the packaging was compromised. But I figured I’ll give it a try. The instructions are very clear and initially a breeze to assemble. No power tools required! Up until the last step it was easy to put together but the backing was warped- I assume some moisture from the broken cardboard? It took me over an hour to put together and try and fit the backing in. I also noted a few broken screw holes. Then when it was time to flip it over and stand it up, the entire thing fell apart, like in a cartoon. Every single shelf came apart in an instant. The cam lock screws do not tighten. Not even one of them. Which makes it impossible to assemble. I’ve seen similar reviews with the same complaints. Therefore do not recommend. What a waste of money. And I bet it’s going to be a hassle to return. ... show more

Sorry I didn’t clean up for the photo but I thought for the sake of showing that this cubby works well for the purpose it was bought for, the mess of toys highlighted that. I bought this cubby for my kids’ room to hold their books and toys. I also wanted something cute and stylish as well as functional. It needed to be a bit modern to fit the pattern of the painted wall behind it. This filled all three boxes! It is sturdy and withstands children, it holds lots lots of toys and books and it looks super cute with Minimal effort. I put it together myself and while it took a bit it was easy. Plus the instructions are super fun! Yes I will repeat, fun instructions that tell you to grab a drink! Their return policy is awesome and tells you that they won’t require you to pack up the shelf and return it if their is a problem. They will just send you a new one. I think that is amazing. So with a policy like that it is a no brained. Buy it! ... show more
