I am loving this guitar! I was hesitant in ordering it at first because I wasn’t sure what the sound quality would be like (being a carbon fiber guitar). After the first week with it, it has quickly become one of my favorite acoustic guitars that I have ever played. The sound is good. It doesn’t have as much resonance as a full size wood guitar, however I don’t think that should be expected with a shallow body guitar regardless. Where it really stands out is with single note clarity. It sounds absolutely wonderful with finger picking styles and slide/tap on. It doesn’t “blend” notes in a chord, and is easier to hear each individual note. This is personal preference here, but I actually much prefer this for my playing style. The playability is truly what made this guitar stand out to me. The shallow body, and low action make it amazingly comfortable and easy to play. Typically acoustic guitars are a little cumbersome and your fingers work quite a bit harder than an electric guitar, but I’ve found this to be nearly as playable as an electric guitar, but with a really nice acoustic sound. I would recommend this guitar for new players for its excellent playability, but honestly it is also great for more experienced players who like playing a more melodic style with acoustic guitars, like finger picking or playing in scales.

I was looking for a simple acoustic guitar that sounded decent and didn’t take much upkeep. I’ve tried two carbon fiber based guitars previously and ended up selling them both for various reasons. I especially disliked Lava Guitars because it was impossible to get the action playable. I can tell you right off the bat that this one is a keeper. The cost is low, the performance is high, the action is amazingly close and perfect while the sound is very good. I’ve played guitar for over 50 years both professionally and for my own enjoyment and I want to mention this is good for anyone, not just a beginner. I know it’s considered beginner size but that doesn’t mean you need to be a beginner to use and enjoy this guitar. I think anyone that buys this will be pleasantly surprised and wonder why they didn’t purchase it sooner. Highly recommended!!

This is an awesome acoustic for the money. It's great for an outdoors adventure. The tuners are maybe the only area where I felt there could have been a slight quality improvement with minimal additional cost, but they're not bad, just not my favorite. Plays quite well and is inexpensive enough that you can take it to the beach or camping with no real concern. The case that I received was better than expected (although a lot of low cost guitars are coming with solid cases these days). It looks cool and seems to be considerably more durable than a wood acoustic. It sounds quite nice and better than I expected. I've used it with a sound hole pickup and that's quite fun too. Overall, solid recommendation if you're looking for a low cost and durable option!

For the money I’m very pleased with this small body, 38” carbon fiber guitar. I say this because there are some aspects that I could critique. The sound has the sound of a small body guitar. Smaller than a parlor guitars body so it’s not going to sound big like a concert or dreadnought sized guitar. Also the action needed some minor adjustments when I received the guitar, due to the low “E” and “A” strings were Buzzing on the fretboard. Fortunately the Allen wrench they sent with the guitar worked great and I probably only needed to give it a total of a quarter turn to make the action have the right height for me. Otherwise I love this guitar because it’s fun to play, has a Banjo like sound so it’s great for that blue grass sound. Also being completely synthetic materials I’m not concerned playing outside in the heat or in the rain. For ~$200 I’m very happy and plan to play this for a long time.

The guitar is well build and well set up. Strings action is on the low side: 2.5/32 on the low E and 2/32 on the high E at the 12th fret. However, there is no strings buzz so the guitar is very playable with little effort. The fret work is excellent, frets are even and well rounded. The neck relief is spot on, and in any case there is a truss rod inside the neck to adjust it. The sound of the guitar is very clear, with good separation between the strings. It is weak on the low end, probably due to the thin body. But it is better than what I expected. One thing that I do not like is the nut: it does not have a nut slot, it is just a thin piece of bone (or artificial bone) glued on top of the neck. That means that future nut replacements will be impossible. That is the only reason why I took away one star from my review.
