I purchased the rustic style for standard round toilet. My dimension is 16½" from center of mounting holes to toilet rim outer edge. You must remove the mounting plate from the seat and reposition them to outer threaded hole to achieve 16½". There are 3 sets of holes in the mounting plate that will allow adjustment from 15½-16½ inches. The seat and hinges seem very sturdy and well made. Love the soft close function. ... show more

The only negative thing that I can say about this toilet seat it that it is REALLY Flat! No contouring at all. That is why I deducted one star. Good product, just could use a little more engineering as flat and hard is not the best combination for a toilet seat.

If you've never installed one of these toilet seats that gradually and slowly closes, it is a bit more difficult to do so due to the leverage present in the more complex hinge, but IMHO worth it not to hear the lid slamming on the seat. I took a chance on getting a muticolored seat due to the painted wall and tile floor colors appearing in the colors in the seat, but it looks great! ... show more

Contrary to how it is advertised it is NOT easily cleaned.. It has a rough texture with many close groves. It is wood looking after all! I was pleased at first how it blended in with my beige fixtures. Even the cleaning issue wasn't that big a deal in the long run. However after a month, it started to slide sideways. Now I'm the only one using it 90% of the time and I only weigh 117 pounds, so I didn't think this should happen. My husband tightened it for me,, but within another week, same thing happened. Then it happened again! This time he had it tightened as much as it could be, but it slid back and forth with the touch of my hand! He said the only way to prevent it was to bolt it to the tank itself, which he wouldn't recommend for obvious reasons, or replace it. Sadly I have another one, not so stylish, that fits and has stayed put for over three months with no indication it will move anytime soon. ... show more

    • Not your average toilet seat can be a little tricky
This toilet seat is very nice can be a little tricky to put on you may have to turn the little brown hinges to the inside or finagle which holds you use to make everything line up right don't give up LOL
