The ceramic boot, after getting painted but before the glaze, got chipped in multiple places, taking away from the looks of this candle. Well, this is a cute candle but I expected more from it. I chose the "Cactus Flower" as I saw what looked like flowers on the boot. It turns out that those blotches were just that--blotches. There are pink blotches on the boot. Oh well. The candle smells nice and burns well. I burn candles during supper and it looks like this one will last a couple of weeks worth of burning. The boot is a solid ceramic material, so don't order this expecting for the light to shine through it. I recommend it, although make sure it is what you want before you purchase it. ... show more

I recently ordered the 6oz cowboy boot candle in "cactus flower". I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the boot. It's roughly 5 x 5 inch. You do get a sneak sniff as you open the box and it really gets you excited to get it out. The boot is subtle in colors. This pink swirl isn't obnoxious. The candle scent is strong but not nauseating so. I probably won't burn the candle. It would be great to be able to buy a set. A pair would make great bookends. ... show more

The cowboy boot on this candle is so much fun, really a winner - Nashville Cowboy Boot - Cactus. The scent for the orange cowboy boot is medium in intensity with a filling effect, a little heavy for my small guest bathroom. It doesn’t make my list of favorites however I’m sure it will please others. Quality-wise it’s an even clean burn, easy to get multiple uses. So, obviously this is very niche being a cowboy boot. But when I say, you can smell it before even taking it out of the bubble wrap- I mean it. It smells so good! I got this because I thought it was cute and I recently moved and needed some new decor and smell goods. The candleholder itself is a thick ceramic type of material, but is breakable. It’s about the size of an adult hand. It would be the perfect gift for bachelorettes if you have your party in Nashville, or Nashville themed. Otherwise it’s just a great gift to anyone who loves boots and things that smell, or yourself if you fall into that category. My only issue with this candle is that I need to order a second one, because boots come in pairs, and I plan on using this as a small vase when the candle is done burning. This adorable decorative candle looks stylish! I did not try to burn it, but I wouldn't recommend it for that purpose; the shape is very impractical. It is meant to be more of a decorative piece and it fills that role well. The outside is shiny, mine had no cracks or blemishes, and the scent of the candle is mild enough that it wasn't that noticeable in my room when I placed the candle. The size, while bigger than I thought, is still not overly large. Price is just a tiny bit high at over twenty four dollars at time of review, but honestly not that bad for an item like this. I have never seen a candle inside of a boot before, so when I saw this I knew I had to purchase it. It's so unique and very cute! It is much larger than I was expecting as well. The boot is fragile, but it was packed very well for shipping. The scent of the candle is strong and it fills a room (to me that is a positive. I love candles that I can smell.)
