Rust-Oleum 376904-6PK Stops Rust Custom Spray 5-in-1 Spray Paint, 12 oz, Gloss Navy Blue This is the new 5 in 1 spray nozzle system for Rustoleum. you have 3 normal spray patters of different intensities, one horizontal spray pattern and one vertical spray pattern. easy to use but be careful if tilting the can on a horizontal surface, the can may spatter if the can is not full. The new spray pattern is very good, you can change the spray pattern any time you need a different result. The spray pattern makes it pretty darn easy to paint and if you are reasonably careful, you wont see any runs, but it is normal Rustoleum paint so runs are a possibility. One thought however you cannot turn the can upside down to clear the nozzel. It seems to do that itself but I take an extra step. after you complete the paint work you have, you need to remove the spray cap. -- this is not easy as Rustoleum has a special cap that is hard to get off the can. You actually have to PRY the cap off. After removing the cap, take a can of WD40, put the nozzel on the cap where the can connects the paint feed and shoot a shot of WD40 through the nozzles you used. you can put a drop on the can tube also if you like but I have not done that. have not lost a working can or nozzle cap yet. before putting back on the can, CUT a slit on the left side and right side of the inner ring through the locking plastic ring. you will see it. this makes it PULL OFF simple for cleaning next time. If your lawnmower has a ‘pressed steel deck’ you may NEED this primer and paint! To save costs a few yrs ago most low-mid-range price lawnmowers started using ‘press steel’ mower decks to try to counter raising labor… other costs. BAD strategy because that requires unsung softer/ thinner steel which is so much more susceptible to rust and corrosion. So much so most of these pressed steel mower decks are rusting through already in two yrs and my deck without preventative action this year.. may not last through next year! A ‘premium’ $3000 Toro Zero Turm only lasting 3 yrs… boy did this sting… because ‘THEY’ wanted to save money! So doing want I can to stretch it frail live span by taking it to a weld shop to have rust- thrus spot welded, worse areas had to have meter plates welds over the larger eaten through areas. Welder has seen many many of even worse than mine! He told me to use this spray paint (and same company spray primer to likely greatly stop the rapid corrosion deterioration… likely get a third year… possibility a forth. Said if I do nothing.. it Mikey will not make it through next season! His weld repairs… and my nice primer and paint jog was easy, pretty fast to complete… and it you don’t look too closely… looks in great shape ! ... show more

In the past, some spray paint brands would come with a blue nozzle that had a fan spray pattern...I always sought those out. Nowadays, I can no longer find those and everything comes with that crappy, thin spray pattern nozzle that makes everything you spray paint, look....spray painted. When I saw these with the 5 different settings, I was excited, albeit a little skeptical. I sprayed our front door and was very impressed! I shook the can well and used the no. 4 setting. This almond gloss is a beautiful color and the coverage area is much much more than your average can of spray paint of any color type. I can say that the drawing time is longer than any spray paint I’ve ever used. After a day, I brought the items that I sprayed inside the a/c & it took several days until the surface was fully dry.
