I own multiple e-bikes for over 5 years, have to say I am really impressed with this e-bike. First of all the price was unbeatable for what was offered. $950 is a giveaway, same exact models of step through e-bikes selling for $300-400 more. Bike was packaged really well, and 95% assembled, just had to put on front wheel and handlebars. The paint job is unbelievable, it is a beauty. I was super impressed with build quality and welds pattern on a frame. It is foldable and fully adjustable, I am 6'5 and it fits me perfectly as well as my 10-year-old daughter. 500 w rear hub motor has more than enough power, was able to go top speed 28 MPH. 48v battery is a game changer! It has a decent front suspension fork, very comfortable seat, built-in front headlight, horn, tail light and actual working brake light, which is unbelievable, so when you press break levers the brake light actually goes on, this is an amazing safety feature! Also bike came with rear view mirror. I never heard of this company but nowadays anyone can buy 100 bikes from China and put on their name on it but the bike looks amazing, the quality is great and has so many features that other bikes do not have and cost $400 more! If you see this bike on sale, grab it, you will not be sorry ... show more

Bike arrived a few days early. Packed very well. After the bike was put in the box they blew liquid foam that hardened around the bike so it was well protected. It was easy to assemble. Actually, all I had to do was put the handlebar stem in the frame & tighten. I checked the wheel nuts for tightness and they were very tight from the factory. The fenders and the wheels and the brakes were all in alignment so I did not have to make any adjustments. I checked the tires and they were already filled to specs, so did not have to mess with that. I upgraded the seat, but the one that came with it was perfectly fine. The. LED display is easy to read and easy to use. Just press the mode button and the display goes thru all the features of the bike. Odometer, trip odometer, time used, etc. I was worried I would not like the pedal assist modes but I was blown away at how they work. Really neat. You have the option of pedal assist 1 which takes the bike to 8mph.. Push the up button to got to pedal assist 2 which stays at a constant 12mph. PA 3 takes me 19mph. You can set the pedal assist to start as soon as you start to pedal. I went with another option which means I have to pedal 3 complete revolutions to begin the pedal assist. I'm an old fart, 86, so it is a little safer for me to get on the bike and start pedaling myself before pedal assist kicks in. Once you stop pedaling, the pedal assist shuts down. Great safety feature. However, there is a throttle you twist for variable speeds, so you can go any speed you want. The throttle overrides the pedal assist. Also, you can go into settings and change the factory setting speed of 19mph to run the max which I think is 29mph. But at my age, I left it where it is. I only have 25 miles on the bike so far but I am very happy with it so far. Also has a neat headlight and taillight which gets brighter when you apply the brakes. There is really nothing not to like about this bike. I feel safe and steady when I ride it. I added a rear carrier to keep my phone, owners manual and tools, plus a Gatorade and a bottle of water. At 25 miles so far, the battery is still more than 50% (about 70% power left probably) as you can see in the photo. I have been using PA 2 at 12mph and helping with the pedaling. Probably 50% pedal assist and 50% full electric power. I am glad I made this purchase. Reasonable price as well. I read all the positive review before I made the purchase and that is the main reason I bought this one. ... show more

    • Great e-bike - Used it first at Burning Man, a torture test for a new bike!

I spent a lot of time trying to decide which e-bike to buy. It arrived just in time to throw the box into the van and head for Burning Man in late August, Assembling a brand new bike on the playa (with wind and dust blowing) for the first time is not for the faint of heart! But this bike went together in no time. I did spend some time looking for the tools (which had dropped into the box while I was unpacking, but once I found them, the rest was easy. The battery was fully charged, and after assembling (only three major pieces, the handbars, the front wheel and the seat) it was ready to roll. I made a few minor adjustments as suggested by the instructions (not too bad English either for an Asian product) and rolled out. Only issue I had was adjusting the seat. You need to angle the closure clasp up so that can be fully closed otherwise it rests against the outside tube and doesn't hold the seat tightly enough (I am 285 lbs which probably doesn't help LOL). The bike is comfortable, even in the tough conditions at Burning man ("streets" there are usually very rutted as they are just dirt which is constantly subjected to trucks and cars) but the bike handled it all admirably both under pedal power and under electric power. I drove a mixed combination of pedal assist and straigh 'motorcycle' power and the original charge lasted four days, 18 miles. I charged it from a generator and it lasted the rest of my trip another 17 miles and still had two bars (out of five). The light and reflectors worked great too. I folded it for the first time to bring it home and that worked well (although I have yet to open it up again, will try that tomorrow). I bought the 500w version, and I was a little worried given my weight, but NO PROBLEM at all. It carried me just fine, Admittedly the real test will be San Francisco hills (the playa at Burning Man is totally flat except for the ruts in the roads LOL) but still I am happy with that decision (also, I made it because 750W is the cut-off for registering a 'motorcycle' at Burning Man, so 500w was well within the limit,.). Highly recommend this bike. The worksmanship to far (admittedly only 2 weeks) seems excellent, and it all works as expected and promised. ... show more

I like this e-bike. It was easy to assemble. I only have 14 miles on it but the bike has plenty of power and it is easy ro ride. I just got done with a 6 mile trip in windy and cold conditions and UT worked very well.
