The bed is comfortable, with caveats. While it is overall a medium firm bed, you sink into the top layer. this is great if you have a healthy sleep position. I have to sleep on an incline for my reflux, so I wake up with my butt sunk in feeling like I've been sitting all night. If I go on my side it's better and we're experimenting with some incline options. The only real frustration with the bed is that with two people, the most comfortable position is in the center and no one gets it. The edges of the bed are not firm at all and if you sleep too close, it feels like you're falling off. This effectively limits the actual size of the bed to less than a queen but more than a full. Received this mattress a few days ago and honestly it’s the worst thing I have ever slept on. Im in pain when I wake up. The sides never expanded like they should. One mattress I received was hard as a rock and the other one was so soft you sink in. I called Amazon and they refused to return the item because they need the mattress to return they told me to contact pilot and ups and both said they don’t know why Amazon is having me call when amazon knows that most carriers policy is they can’t pickup a mattress that opened because of hygiene purposes. Now I paid 600 dollars for two mattresses and I’m stuck with them. Amazon went against return policy and didn’t care. I spoke to heavy bulk supervisors for 3 days and no one was able to help me. They just kept saying I need to fit a expanded mattress in the box. Do yourself a favor and do not buy any mattress ever from Amazon. You could see in the photos how my fitted king size sheets were so loose and how you can see the box because of the mattress no expanding in the corners! I am sooo disappointed in how Amazon handled this situation. They kept giving me the run around and told me to look for a carrier myself that will pick up the mattress. After purchasing and returning beds from two national companies(total of 7 beds due to manufacturing faults) I gave up and ordered this mattress in two twin xl sizes until I could spend more time finding a bed. We ordered the thinner size for a guest room, I think 8 inches, it is more firm but decent quality for the price so took a chance at this in 14 inches. It is not as firm, more medium which I am happy about, it works with the adjustable base without any issues so far. We had so many issues with the b*bopedic and the hybrid cooling bed from another company (m.f.) both of which we spent over $3000 in total for. I would argue this bed is better than them.... Either the big stores have gone downhill or I had the worst luck to get all the wrong sized and broken beds . Either way I saved a ton of.momey and still have quality sleep on this bed. Unboxing was easy with two people, and it puffed up very fast within four hours ... show more
