  • My Son LOVES This
I caught this on sale for my oldest son’s impending launch, with the expectation we’d store it in his closet until he was ready to move (a few months from now- he’s in his last semester of his college program). He has a smaller closet, and the way it’s packaged makes it totally feasible to stand in a back corner until you’re ready to open it. As it turns out, he was excited and ready to open it now. Oof. Fast forward 10 days, after I’ve ordered the up-sized bed frame and mattress protector (I’d already bought the sheets, pillows, and comforter set) and arranged to borrow the neighbor’s guest bedroom so the mattress had a flat place to lay undisturbed for three days, and now he’s lodged a complaint that this new bed is too comfortable and he’s struggling to make himself get out of it for his 9 a.m. class. Our experience was kind of an obstacle course, but here’s what you need to know: • The package is heavier than it looks. Proceed accordingly. • Don’t open the plastic vacuum wrap until you’ve got a flat surface this can lay on for a few days to fully re-inflate. • We didn’t notice any strong odors after opening. • It expands rapidly when you open the plastic. Like… RoadRunner cartoon rapidly. Proceed accordingly. • Standard full-size sheets and mattress protectors accommodate it just fine. • It’s more plush than we expected, but still has minimal motion transfer. • It really does stay cool. My kid sleeps hot and even after sleeping on it for 8 hours, he’s still comfortable when he wakes up. • We have it on a bed frame with closely-spaced metal slats and no box spring, and it’s still fully supportive. I’ll add a board to extend the life of the mattress, but it’s comfortable without either. • I had also planned to add a 3” mattress topper to this when I bought it, to further extend the life of the mattress. I’m still going to do that, but for comfort and cooling, it’s not necessary. • It’s too soft for me, but I have a long-standing angry hip flexor condition that demands a bed only slightly softer than a sheet of plywood. Overall, we are super impressed with this mattress; both at the sale price AND the regular price and we recommend it. It’s a fantastic value. ... show more

  • Queen mattress
Decent mattress for the price. Mattress was soft & comfortable. This is more ideal for someone that wants a softer mattress, not a harder mattress. It fit perfectly on our frame.

  • Comfortable with a few flaws...
This 12" deep hybrid mattress in a box was delivered by an Amazon truck and 2 movers. While the box was completely undamaged, it would be quite heavy for one person to drag around or up\down stairs even when boxed. I let this hybrid mattress inflate itself after unboxing for 72 hours before using it. Some of the instructions said 48 hours and some said 72 hours to wait. It did expand to the full 12" depth, uniformly, in the first few hours. Dont use it till it has time to fully expand. The cloth coverings look nice. However there were several areas on the top where the sewing threads were beginning to unravel in the white cloth material. The sewing isnt being secured very well. The springs on the bottom don't seem to have much of a support base under them so be sure you choose a solid frame or they may not provide enough support. Open frames or those with supports more than a few inches apart could allow the springs to eventually wear through the bottom of the mattress. The coils are many but actually are quite small in diameter. The bottom of this mattress (coupled with a good solid frame) provides firmer support. The top of this mattress is the different types of foam that provide the softness you can sink into a bit. I am a 240 lb side sleeper who has to have some firmness and dont like sinking deep into a mattress. This mattress has fit the bill nicely. The bottom springs give me the support my weight needs, while the top foam gives me enough cushion to allow my heavier body areas to sink in only an inch or so, supporting me fully while giving me comfort enough to sleep. My old mattress had me tossing and turning and my legs and sides in pain all night. This mattress allows me to sink in just a little bit, making me more comfortable and less needing to turn over frequently. But it supports my heavy frame even when on my sides. Also the arm I usually have above my torso doesn't feel as jammed between a pillow and my head as the mattress gives a little there. Also on my old mattress, I couldn't have my legs on top of one another or the pressure would cause cramps. Now my legs sink in a little and are better aligned with my spine and I don't wake up hurting. I am getting longer, better quality sleep on this mattress. Because this is a hybrid mattress, you will not flip it over every few months. The coils must stay on the bottom. It is suggested though that you horizontally rotate it 180 degrees every few months to even out the wear between the top and bottom. This mattress is quite heavy and has no side handles. Its very wobbly when not on a frame. So use a partner when moving it if you have a full or larger size. It also will not ever roll back up into the original box. Once inflated, it just cant be compressed back down again. Keep this in mind before ordering mattresses in a box as it complicates warranty returns greatly. Be aware that this 12" thick mattress will require special bedding known as deep pocket bedding. Normal fitted sheets are designed for more shallow 8-10" mattresses and won't stay on a thick mattress like this one. You will need to be sure your bedding is not only sized for the correct bed size but also for the deeper depth. Get deep pocket bedding listed as 12-14" deep. Also don't get the deep pocket fitted sheets listed as 18-21" as this is too big and will leave your fitted sheets wrinkled up. So if you arent already using 12" deep mattresses, you may have to get all new bedding for this mattress. One last thing that needs noting is that this mattress has very little edge support. If you sit on the edge of the bed, it collapses down all the way to the springs. This could be an issue if you and\or a partner are used to sleeping close to the edge. You may find yourself rolled right off the bed if you get too close to the edge. In summation, while this hybrid mattress is not perfect, it is quite comfortable for most people. I dont know how durable and how long it will last as I just havent had it long enough to judge. Is it as good as those $1000+ mattresses? Of course not! But it's low price makes it well worth the purchase for most budgets. December 2025: Have had this mattress now for almost 2 years and not at all disappointed. Only down side for me is that it has no handles and is a royal pain to move. But has been excellent to sleep on and has shown very little sign of wear now almost 2 years later. ... show more

  • Not too soft , not to hard. Just right
What can I say but that this was a great buy. Soooo many options on here and I finally decided on this one. It's the perfect blend of sort and firm if you can understand that. I didn't like firm or too soft so this hit the spot. My body doesn't hurt when I wake up anymore. I don't know how long it will last but I do use it daily since I live in my RV. As for now I'm so glad I chose this one of the 1000 options on Amazon. ... show more

  • Nappily ever after
I’ve had this bed for a little over a month. At first I loved the pillow too nature of it it’s a soft bed and quite comfortable. Then I started waking up in pain after about 2 or so weeks of use. It has caused me the WORST low back pain I’ve ever experienced. I had NO lower back pain prior to sleeping in this bed. It sinks in the middle as if I’ve had it for years. Now sleeping on my side or stomach becomes unbearable. I can hardly walk when I get out of bed let alone bend. I believe the sinking middle is because of the way this mattress is packaged and perhaps my mattress had been boxed up far too long, idk. I wish I could send this back. It’s ruining my day to day and my sleep has been tragic. Spare yourself. Don’t buy this bed. Edit/Update: Silly me, I failed to ensure this mattress had proper support. This mattress requires a solid bed Frame , wood slats, or box spring or the mattress will sag. I added wood slats under my mattress and my lower back pain went away. Back to 5 stars. ... show more

  • Comfortable but smaller than expected
Right off the bat I wanna make it known that this mattress is really comfortable! This mattress is firm but not hard and it has a nice bounce to it. It’s easy to fall asleep on and good on my back. While I do find the mattress to be comfortable it is definitely smaller than the normal full mattress. It’s been about a month now and the edges never expanded to the full 10inches. The centre of the bed is fully expanded but it slopes downwards by 1.5 to 2 inches at the corners which makes bed sheets look very sloppy and you cant sit on the edge of the mattress without sliding off. It’s also not as long as it should be. The mattress is supposed to be 75 inches long by 54 inches wide but it’s only about 73x51. I’m rather short and it’s just me on the bed so it being smaller doesn’t bother me too much but it’s annoying that the bed is too small for my frame (which wasn’t an issue with my old full mattress) and my sheets looks really baggy which irks me. The only other issue I have with the bed is how you can feel the springs from the side of mattress. I’m not used to spring mattresses so I’m not sure that’s normal but there’s absolutely no padding on the sides of the mattress. This mattress is very comfortable but smaller than it should be. I also don’t think it will last for 7-10 years but for the price it’s fine as long as it lasts a couple years. ... show more

  • You will NOT be disappointed with this mattress!
I don't often sit down and write a product review but I thought I would after purchasing and experiencing this mattress. First off the shipment... I believe I was told after ordering it was going to take about a week for me to receive this mattress but it shipped through UPS and arrived on my porch in half the time. I ordered the 10-inch mattress so a decent size box, around 37 pounds, to haul in. It is a good thing I had my adult daughter to help me bring it in as there's really no place to grab hold with your hands so you can't really drag it in, you have to carry it. By myself, given I have steps, I would have had to use a hand dolly. The packaging... How they got this big of a mattress in that box, again pretty decent size, seems like something out of science fiction. It comes rolled up and sealed in a thick plastic wrap. Now a few things once you get the mattress out of the boc... you want to have a really good pair of scissors or knife to cut through the plastic. Also you want to do this in a room with plenty of space. If you're going to do this on the bed frame make sure you have space around the frame. And it doesn't hurt to have a helper but you can do it solo. This particular mattress is a combination of various memory gel/foams and springs so as you free it from the plastic it will WANT to unroll and do so fast. This is where having an additional set of hands works in your favor. So once the mattress is freed from the plastic and in its unrolled state to me it's pretty much ready to go. i read some reviews about giving it 24-48 hours to let it achieve it's full form but this model seemed ready to go to sleep on immediately. Now the quality... I haven't slept good for years. I had a lousy mattress over the last decade that I tried memory foam toppers on and still never got a restful sleep. Often I'd wake up feeling tired, my back tight, shoulders stiff and starting the day off on the wrong foot. After a week on this mattress I find I'm relaxing a lot more... I'm not feeling as tense... my joings, especially my shoulders, are feeling a lot looser. My back's not tight. I wake up feeling way more relaxed and refreshed than I had been. So for me, based on the cost, the shipping, the packaging, the sleep quality, I'm giving this mattress five stars. It's a high quality mattress for a great price that you will not be disappointed with. ... show more

  • Even Motel 6 offers better mattresses.
I wish I could give this horrible mattress negative five stars, or even just 0 stars. It's just absolutely TERRIBLE. Pros: 1. It arrived on time! 2. The coils fully deployed within 72-hours. Cons: Despite the coils fully deploying within 72-hours, I gave it a little over four days (roughly 110-hours) before I first used it. As expected, my first week wasn't the best, but that's NORMAL for a new mattress while your body gets used to the new support and the support gets used to you. The second week was marginally better. Thi9rd week? Still not great. Fourth week? Still waking up with an aching back. It was the end of the fifth week that was my final straw. Three nights in a row with no dreams. With barely any sleep. With absolutely no true rest. Why? BECAUSE I WAS WAKING UP EVERY HOUR NEEDING TO POP MY SPINE! I already have low back issues that I'm under constant medical care for, and it was for this reason I was really hoping that this innercoil mattress would be a good fit for me. Instead I want to set it on fire. It does NOT support the spine at ALL. I've slept on better mattresses in motels that charge $30/night. ... show more
