This Mattress is great and mine fully expanded within a few hours it didn't take 24 hrs to expand. It's not a box spring idk who is saying that, it comes completely rolled up and you have to let it puff back up because it's JUST FOAM. No weird smells and one of the main reasons I chose this mattress is because it does not have any cancer causing materials used in It's creation. It is not hit with California prop 65 and there's few mattresses that don't have that warning. My son loves his bed, he keeps telling me how cozy it is. First of all it's not 8 inchs.... I've gotten 2 of these memory foam mattresses one 6 inches and one 8 inches. Even after weeks there still a few inches short. The 6 inch is 4 to 5 and the 8 inch is 6 inches so I don't know why it's like that.... however there still very comfortable and durable. You can't beat the price for sure, I recommend getting an either 6 or 8 inch mattress then getting a 3 inch topper from temper pedic... it's basically a temper pedic bed for 1/8 the price. ... show more

So hear me out, I have 2 large dogs and looked in to getting them both a nice dog bed. Well that was just a hilarious trip down nope lane. So then I thought, could I buy a foam mattress and cut it in half cheaper than buying 1 dog bed? Well I have yet to cut it in half, but the dogs love it. Its silly, but whenever I get around to cutting it and sewing sheets into "pillow cases" for it, it will be less than half the cost for 2 large dog beds. I'm sure for a kids bed it would be great, I can't imagine a larger person enjoying it too much ... show more

Well, I was wary of ordering a mattress online, but at this price not a big gamble. So it was quite light in the package. Once unwrapped I didn't smell any offensive smells, just the smell of the plastic wrapping that was discarded promptly. I smell something which I believe is the green tea infusion. And finally it is comfy, I don't feel the wood slats under this 6 inch mattress, I've used it one day only, so let's see... ... show more
