Okay, so I was really skeptical about a non-traditional mattress, but this thing is FANTASTIC for a good night's rest. It keeps you cool, there's no pressure points, there's no motion transfer from your partner. It's a great blend of firm support and squishy comfort. Make sure you have a good solid base, no slats, for best results. It expanded very quickly and was fantastic for sleep in just about 6 hours, and fully mattress shaped in about 14 hours. I've literally never slept better in my life... Now the "but," It was terrible for the secondary use of any mattress for consenting adults, nudge-nudge-wink-wink knowwhatimean? The same qualities that make it an amazing night's sleep really make it awful for the leverage and gymnastics of recreational usage. Hint- extra support under a partner is very helpful, think foam wedge pillow... The only other issue, and it's so minor compared to the rest, is that fitted sheets don't stay on as well as on a traditional mattress, overall not a big deal but worth mentioning if you're a bit OCD. I was very pleased- quality is GREAT. It does come deflated but will plumpin up- says after a day but my kid had no issue sleeping in it an hour after opening. It holds its shape and its firm but soft. Its nice and thick- shipped fast- great mattress!

I love everything about it other than me having a bad frame but that’s my fault haha 🤣 It doesn’t even smell from my daughter having a few accidents on it. We bought this with the intent to trim it to fit into our small camper trailer. I am somewhat torn regarding this review. The mattress is comfortable and is meeting our needs well after trimming it to fit the trailer. The flip side, however, is the misleading nature of the mattress description. As many others have noted this only expands to 6 inches not 8. Since it is comfortable in our trailer this may actually be a plus - we use less vertical space but it is not what is claimed. If you compare the picture of a cut section you will see it does not in any way, reflect the multiple layers in the product description. Again the mattress is comfortable but is not as described or shown in their product description. If the product description had accurately reflected the true make up of the mattress and its thickness I would have given it 5 stars ... show more

Even with letting it sit for the recommended time, the mattress did not expand to the full 10 inches. Not as firm as I thought it would be but it is still comfortable.
