Takes a while to sink in, and I don’t feel like I’m climbing out of a hole when I get up. So far I have not felt overheated. I kept my adjustable sleep number base and it works fine. It expanded almost to the entire thickness. A very warm room helps expansion, as well as loosening or removing the cover. I had a 14” memory foam nectar mattress and it had to be replaced but I didn’t want to spend the money to buy a new expensive king size mattress. My kids have this in a twin and they’re comfy, I’ve definitely fallen asleep and enjoyed the nap…plus for about $400 for a king bed you can’t beat it. It is obviously lower than a 14” mattress but fits without looking odd in the king bed frame we have. It’s very comfortable and I don’t feel like I got in a car wreck every morning. One negative I guess is king sheets are mildly baggy on it. If you need a mattress for only about $400, this is definitely gonna be a good buy. ... show more

Easy set up, very fun to unroll amd unwrap and watch it expand. Needed a new mattress and put it off for years, so happy to finally get one. Firm but squishy enough to hug the body line, sleep has improved greatly.

I purchased my mattress during the Black Friday sale Nov '23. So I can't complain about the price. I've been sleeping on this mattress since early Dec. My old mattress was not a memory foam and it was in really bad shape. I am sleeping fine on this mattress. When I opened it, I had to let it sit the full 72 hrs to expand. 2 corners, on same side, were very stubborn. I dont remember any smell, maybe because I let it sit out so long. I'd like to point out that the picture says the 12" is medium firm but in the text description it only says medium. It's the only 1 that says medium. All others say medium firm. I noticed this a while after I purchased. So pay attention and read everything! The edges of the mattress are not firm at all! If I sit on the edge, I sink! That would be my biggest complaint about this mattress. I really needed a new mattress so I wasnt about to return it. I also bought the NapQueen metal platform frame. It’s marginally comfortable. But I can’t afford more. ALSO the brand name is NAP QUEEN so when I did a search for a queen size mattress this came up and I bought a full size by accident because of the search 😒
