This is not what I expected but I’m not bad at it! It’s a pre shampoo, so you use it before you actually shampoo. At first I thought it wasn’t really doing anything but as I continued to use it I noticed my hair felt softer and more full. When I stopped using it for the next week my hair went back to normal. I have blonde highlights, and over time the highlighted part of my hair starts to misbehave. Even with using high-quality shampoo and conditioner the highlighted areas just get kind of dry and frizzy. Enter this unusual product. I looked it up online to find instructions, as it's not entirely clear how to use this since it's a pre-shampoo treatment. Here's what I found: Apply a generous amount from roots to ends on damp hair. Comb through the length of hair. Leave on for 1 minute, but no more than 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, then shampoo and condition hair as usual. Use 1-3 times per week as needed. For best results, use Blonde+ Repair Bond Building Shampoo and Bond Building Conditioner. So I tried this out and left it on for about three minutes. Wow, the difference in my hair was remarkable! I'm not sure what wizardry this is, but I like it. My hair is smoother and brighter for days. The bottle is small but it's an affordable indulgence to give my hair a re-set. I like it and will order it again! ... show more

I always like to try new conditioners and that is why I ordered this. When I received it I realized that it will add an extra step to my routine and was a little mad at myself for that. So you're supposed to put it on for just a few minutes before you shampoo, that is the extra step. As it turns out it was well worth it. Very simple to use, yet I had a noticeable difference in my hair after using it. It felt thicker, softer and fuller. I didn't notice anything different as far as color which is fine by me, not sure why blonde is in the product name. I'm very sensitive to fragrances and I didn't notice anything bothersome. The container itself is very small and may even get through TSA. That said I didn't feel like I needed to use too much to notice a difference.
