We bought this rocking chair to use with our newborn and I would highly recommend! The electric recliner and headrest are SILENT when you're adjusting them, which is amazing and doesn't wake up the baby. It has phone charging ports and the recliner controls on the inside of the armrest which just makes things so much more convenient to access when tired and don't have any free hands. Other nice things: the main backrest pillow part is really thick and has nice lumbar support, and the armrests are nice and wide and soft. SO excited about this purchase!! I didn't get a glider with my first, who is now almost 2 years old. Now, I'm starting my 3rd trimester with our second and am so glad I decided to buy this chair. The first night we started using the chair my 2 year old fell asleep on me after reading a few books - she hasn't done this since she was a baby. It was pure bliss! My toddler and I (and my 3rd trimester belly!) fit perfectly in the chair together and it has easily become the new favorite for the whole family. The media could not be loaded. I really love this glider. It was super easy to put together—just two big pieces and that’s it. Honestly the easiest piece of furniture I’ve ever had to assemble, which was great because I was already tired before I even opened the box. It was a little heavy out of the box but once its set up it feels rock solid and really sturdy. It glides really smoothly and quietly. I’ve fallen asleep in it more times than I can count, especially during those late-night feedings. Our old rocking chair used to scare me—I always worried about pinching my toddler’s fingers or toes. This one feels so much safer. No loud creaking, no hard edges near the bottom, and just really gentle movement. I haven't had any accidents yet but water just wicks off of it so I'm assuming cleaning milk or other colored liquids would just come off easily. The function of the built-in phone charger has been a lifesaver. I use a wireless pump that connects to my phone, so if I forget to charge my phone during the day (which happens a lot), I can just sit in the chair and plug in while I pump. Super convenient. The headrest tilts too, which I didn’t expect to use as much as I do. I have my head tilt way more than my husband because I'm shorter then him. Sometimes I would rock my toddler asleep in the chair and its big enough so I don't feel like he's too big for the chair, He can comfortably fall asleep in the chair with me. We love our new nursery glider! It came quickly and was extremely easy to unpack and assemble- took less than 5 minutes and just snapped into place. The media could not be loaded. Of all the things I've bought for motherhood, this chair has been the most worth it. I was deciding between a couple nursery chairs before I went with this one because I loved the look, and it seemed to be better priced than some other comparable options. It's been a journey recovering from a c-section. This chair has been the only thing that is comfortable for me. With breast-feeding and baby falling asleep all the time, I'm pretty sure I've slept more in this chair than my bed. The power recline and headrest are super quiet and being able to charge my phone has been super convenient, all great when dealing with a sleeping baby. When baby was awake, feeding, and spitting up on the chair, I cried inside at my wasted milk, but luckily the fabric did prove to be pretty durable, and it was very easy to clean up. My husband and even my in-laws have also commented how comfortable the chair is. (For context I am 5'6, my husband's 6'0, and in-laws around 5'3). I feel like they've taken as many naps in the chair as I have, like hello this chair is for me. Assembly was super fast and easy, took my husband less than 4 min (the box it came in was huge though). Did not know that I needed an adjustable headrest in my life, but husband and I agree it is lowkey life changing. Fabric quality is nice and pretty - appreciate that it'll hold up well against spills. Very comfortable and sizable. Doesn't take up an obscene amount of space but large enough for both me and husband. It's very quiet when reclining so I don't have to worry about the motor sound disrupting baby's sleep.
