We were looking for a full sized mattress for our toddlers’ house frame Montessori bed (it’s one that is on the floor for kids to have independence with safety) but they’re toddlers(2&3) that we’re also potty training. So the accidents are daily. 🤷🏼♀️ This mattress has made our life a breeze as I got tired of getting down on my hands and knees to remove bedding and unzip a mattress cover that zipped UNDER the standard heavy mattress (to keep the kids from removing it their self) a Every. Single. Day. This way, I can remove the sheets and bedding quickly, scrub down the mattress, (lift and clean beneath, if necessary) scrub the frame if needed and put a fan on it to dry it all quickly and apply a new set of sheets in a matter of minutes! Its light enough that I can move it myself while also being supportive enough for adults. It means less items in my washing machine so that’s helpful too! Two year update. My son has been using this bed for two years now and it’s still in amazing condition. It’s still clean still holds it shape very nicely and still the best money I ever spent. Original I have a child with incontinence issues. After years of “bed protectors” “waterproof pads” and numerous other “tips” nothing seemed to work. Mattresses were ruined, money wasted water bill through the roof. Finally broke down and bought this mattress. And let me tell you it is amazing. Urine is fully repelled from going in the mattress. Huge time saver with clean up. However with the pros there’s a major con. Being it repels the liquid everything else absorbs it. Blankets, sheets, pillows, stuffed animals etc.. that being said I found using a urine pad under the sheet contains it very well. We were using disposable pads till I invested in washable ones. I bought “ Inspire Waterproof Mattress Pad, 2 Pack - Dark Colored to Hide Stains, Extra Large 34 x 54” and they work great with this mattress. Covers a big area to help keep liquid off pillows and stuffed animals. Sheets and blankets can handle a washing better then the other things. Highly recommend this mattress for anyone dealing with urine issues. Cleans up really quick and my son has slept very well on it. He loves his new bed. Fits snug in a twin bunk bed. Sheets are easy to put on being it’s foam and you can pull corners to slip on fitted. Hope this helps ... show more

I love the fact that this mattress is water/urine proof. I can't tell you how many mattresses we've purchased and mattress protectors to maintain a clean bed. However my daughter is autistic w/ other disabilities as well and still uses a diapers and often pees threw. This mattress will allow me to wipe it down without the urine soaking in. She also hates to sleep and often sneaks drinks. She's had this mattress only 2 days now and has been to bed before her bedtime and has slept threw the night both nights. I would definitely recommend to those who struggle with drinks and/or bed wetting. ... show more
