It’s hard to purchase items like these online because you can’t really judge the item until after they are assembled. assenbly was easy. Four bolts to put the seat on. The seat is a little narrow so it would be hard for a larger person to sit comfortably. The description said it would hold up to 550 pounds, but I question that and certainly wouldn’t trust it. I pirchased these more for decoration and they will rarely, if ever be used. I do like that they are adjustable, which serves multipurposes. I like the stools and will keep them, however, if i had seen these in the store and had been able to try them, I’m not sure i would have purchased them. The chairs are really nice looking. However, we took just the seat part out of box to see how it feels, and it is a little snug when sitting because the low arms take up space for your bottom to spread! lol! So measure your spread, if it’s larger than 50” wide forget it. Also, I tried to return or exchange them from this seller with their armless seats, but it cost just as much to return them. So BEWARE!! We Contacted seller with no response. So we are left with the chairs as of now. Waiting for seller to reach out to us for an exchange. We will see if that happens.
