They're nice and large with the perfect amount of flexibility. Even though they're coarse grit and can easily file/shape my builder base, they also leave nails nice and smooth.

I admit I don't use all 4 sides of the buffer. I just need the fine grit side to smooth my nail tips after clipping them, and to gently file away the cuticles that extend pretty far onto my nail. Regular stick files don't work for me because they are too stiff and I end up with uneven straight edges rather than smooth rounded ones. The stick filers usually cause damage to my fragile nails too. It's an unavoidable disaster because I'm bad at doing manicures. The same with my cuticles - if I try to use a regular file to remove the cuticles on the surface of my nails, they cause damage to my already thin nails. These nail blocks are perfect for my needs. The sponginess of the blocks allow for gentle filing and I get perfectly smoothed nail edges and surfaces. It comes in a set of 10 which is a good price at $6.99. Where I live, it's hard to find this particular buffing block, so I love this deal. Highly recommend!

I KNEW there would be a lot of these little buffer blocks but it still surprised me that...there are a lot of them. They're very small but useful. I can basically keep one everywhere. I've found they're perfect for helping me remove gel nail residue after using the remover. I use the kind of remover that bubbles up and it does a great job but always need a bit of cleanup. These reduce the amount of acetone I use. Great for other uses of course, buffing, smoothing small little snags (why I keep one in my purse and car.) Most of the edges are crisp and clean after pulling apart. Which makes them fairly precise. They're small but not too small to be difficult to hold on to. They're a decent value considering the price and how many pieces you get. I have enough to share some with my daughters and still a lot to last me.
