My son started using this when he's around 2.5yrs old and he absolutely loves it! He's shorter than the average 2 year old and is still able to control it,not super well at digging since he's young not due to the products fault, but easy for him to drive. But what is nice is that we are provided a controller as the supervising adult and I can help guide him to use the arm correctly or lock his excavator in place so he doesn't accidentally move forward when not intended. Only mild con is it appears the stop feature doesn't lock the excavator indefinitely (we thought it would only unlock the stop when we press it the second time) and will eventually stop the lock, allowing the driver to drive again. Digging arm is adequate for loose dirt, and the wheels all rotating when you try to turn is very convenient for allowing the user to maneuver tight spaces. My son is able to drive from dirt mildly rocky (small rocks) terrain, onto the concrete with ease as well. And works fine on artificial turf.

This is an awesome product. The build took a bit of time, but my grandson had a great time riding it. The battery appears to last a long time - he tired of it before the battery ran out (2 hours later). It was really fun for him.

I cannot find a way to contact the seller directly, so I am writing this review in an attempt to do so. My son's $340 ride on toy came damaged. The digger arm worked for all of 30 seconds and stopped. I took it back apart and found the pressure switch inside had bent and snapped because the plastic piece it was attached to is loose and not seated properly. Now, there is no way for him to use the digger arm, which was the whole point of purchasing it. I don't want to return it, but I do need a replacement arm so it is usable for him. Other than this issue, it is seems very sturdy and he absolutely loves it.

My kid loves this he can almost go anywhere in the yard being all wheel drive hills bumps and pot holes doesn't stop him. The remote works great even at 100 yards away nice to be able to stop remotely keeping your kid safe from hitting things. Just buy it no regrets.

Kid loves it, it is stable, and it hardly ever gets stuck. Bucket moves but doesn’t really scoop anything (but maybe that’s really a good thing). Parent remote is VERY handy. Bonus music has some (Chinese?) folk song lol
